07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Nobody has mentioned P-math, which I took in hyskool and obviously aced, whee man.

However, here are non-P-math test questions from past years, see man:

TEACHING MATH IN 1950
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit?

TEACHING MATH IN 1970

Had many witty things to say, but few at this hour, need zzz man.

Mrs. T-B. having a rather milestonish birthday soonish, she man.

Is not afraid of being Many years old, no she man.

However, hit us up for $Many (a great $Many) for a pro foto-shoot, shoot she man.

Spent fully 2 hours in & out of closet, trying on various wigs, ponytails, & dresses, she man.

Told us not to disturb her, no disturb she man.

The great $Many for the foto-shoot is probably still cheaper than a party, reason man.

Aren't you bilingual, Steve? You must admit that you think in a different way, when speaking English, than you do when using Cantonese?

The things I say in English, I could never directly translate and say in Japanese, as the mind-set/culture is so different, and would sound odd.

Same here.

But with English and Polish tho ;)

updates - work is good just very busy - on top of my regular position, I was offered to teach Italian just 10 hours per semester. It is good - I am learning more than they are ;)

I don't know if you remember I had issues with co-worker at the beginning - that seems to have gone away. We still dislike each other but don't have to work together unless absolutely necessary - some restructuring is going on so none of us knows what our jobs will be like or where we will be located. Hopefully it will all go well.

I received a letter yesterday that my 10 year GC had been approved ! I was happy ! Other than that.....trying to work some things out with my life overall :)

GC received on the 28th of February, 2014 - no interview, no additional RFE's

Divorced as of September, 2014

NOA1 for ROC 14 October, 2014

Life goes on, my ex-husband is a moron.
