totally kosher japanese food - hence the name.

looks rad and tastie !

My case and point! (Thank you my man).....

frenchy saw the Jewpanese food and said it looks like what? a pig trough?

Frenchy, you call that being cultured? You call that being open minded?

It does happen to be pretty tasty, and I guarantee you, there are ingredients in there not found in Japan.

And once again, that particular dish, can only be experienced in Brooklyn NY.

Just because you like languages though, doesn't mean your kid does. I love riding horses, but my kid is more meh.

Individual. It's a lovely word.

Well, geez, couldn't have figured that out. Her father was at French despite going to a bilingual school and I swear I was better than him at Hebrew. My mother couldn't get past 2 years of any language, she doesn't have the ability.

And where does that French get you now? So you know how to ask for the bathroom in France?

The only other person in my French class senior year of high school ended up moving there, teaching in a university and then working for the UN. I just happened to not be as ambitious.

nah - we have jewpanese in houston [i think it was invented here about 11 years ago] - the southern jewery likes to mix it up.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

if i wanna eat sushi, i eat sushi. if i want kosher food, i'm not usually looking for sushi. but that's just me...

this food was invented for Jews who wanted to explore Japanese food. They can't eat any seafood with no scales. So, they became innovative, eliminating a lot of ingredients, they made it delicious.

You, of all people, should have a good grasp on this concept. How much Malaysian and singaporean cuisine are fusion food?

You'd eat Asian fusion right?

But you wouldn't eat Kosher fusion?

This is more Heebpanese lol

Well?

i don't have to eat kosher fusion. if i want sushi, i want the sushi that i know and love. that's not sushi to me.

sure, it might be innovative, but it does not appeal to me.

it's like eating halal - there are halal versions of chinese dishes that contain pork. if i was a practicing muslim, then sure, but i'm not :P so i go for the authentic porky yummy version, no question about it.

then all ya gotta do is take him on local trips. America is a melting pot. Not like Iceland. They can see a thousand cultures right here in the land, from coast to coast.

he can be inspired, and go off on his own.

Wouldn't it be better for the infrastructure in da ghetto, if he/she got a scholarship to the Sorbonne , and the went back to teach in some small town college?;)

Well if you've figured it out then I haven't figured out why you keep wanting to push your kid into a second language when you've stated she has trouble with english at the moment. But hey, your kid. If you enjoy the stress, by all means, have at it.

And done with my outside voice for the night. I'll get myself in trouble if I keep using it.

and then what would he teach that could be of any use to anyone here?

So his students can go sit with the rest of the OWS heads that hold degrees in Language? and art? And can't get a job pushing a broom in an Amazon warehouse?

God knows I wouldn't ###### hire them....
