That's what I figured.

Ain't no way in h e double hockey sticks that I'd do all the work at home since I also work. I probably do too much of it already but he's getting better. He does expect me to do all of it when I'm not working though... but then he does a lot more when he's not either.

I need a new vacuum... I was thinking of a hoover air canister... I think I need a canister because of all these damn stairs!

/facepalm

I've generally liked upright vacuums better.

She cooked while she was preggers :P and you've always said she is almost TOO clean.

See, if I worked, I'd still be doing everything at home and there is just no way he could do household chores. He didn't do them when he lived alone and doesn't seem to "see" mess.

Plus, I think about some of the childcare options around here and I think - I don't want one of these not so bright women raising my child for me. My nanny had a Master's in English Lit and always intellectually challenged me, but I'm not sure these women even read books.

I have a Dyson upright, but I got this recently for our basement stairs because it was cheaper than the stair attachment for the dyson:

Seems to work well.

Tiff only clean and do laundry. She's like a CAP, a Chinese American Princess....

We have a canister vac. Works pretty good. A dirt devil.

I like it more than I like Tiff, because after 5 years, the dirt devil still sucks :)

Isn't it quieter around the house when ya use the roofies on her?

Just asking, an intellectual pursuit.

She didn't cook ever.....

She's logged about a dozen meals in 14 years lol

No I'm not exaggerating

We saw pictures of her cooking. I didn't say it was often. I said she DID it.

I made pizza tonight and got mostly complaints about how it could have been better.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother cooking. Mostly I do it so we have supper... I'm sure I could stand to miss more than few of those.

Hubs doesn't see mess when i see mess but also feels I spend too much time cleaning (while I think not enough time is spent cleaning.)

My mom told me not to buy a dyson. I know people that love them, but as she has a very successful cleaning business, she knows a little about vacuums. She tries to not take her vacuums to homes (it's a ski hill so that's a lot of stairs) and uses what the owner has provided, but hates the dysons.

That little guy looks cool for just the stairs but I doubt it'll vacuum the rest of the house. LOL

one possible solution -

drop him off to intern with your Mom's cleaning business for 2 weeks.

Report back, when able?

HAHAH not happening.

She lives in Canada.

He makes 3 times what I do.

I think we're fine if I have to clean a little more than he does. LOL As long as I don't have to do it all, I'm fine.
