Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

i think it's a good machine for anyone with kids and who has to help with school projects. joann's is having a sale that matches amazon's price. and if you don't need wireless then it's $50 less for the explore. :)

(sorry, i'm being an enabler...)

Well, it is the downside of having kids, sometimes stuff like that isn't in the budget. *grumbles* student loans, freaking student loans.

i'm not liking osx yosemite

It isn't that different than previous OSX version besides some of the added connectivity features to other apple devices.

did you upgrade or format/wipe/install fresh?

It isn't usually necessary on modern computers to do a fresh install. I can't remember the last time I had to do one of those, maybe 2007?

Macbooks tend to upgrade pretty seamlessly unless of course you had a really specific layout beforehand. Mine still had factory defaults so it wasn't really an issue.

Alas, you weren't quick enough, this time.

Next time? Give it a whirl?

I'll guess the list of upgrade files / versions were not set properly copied over, based on country settings for the OS.
