So, cousin W and his wife are fighting now over bail money.

He's a rich geezer, and has too much money.....

She wants to help her nephew, and of course, brother.

W is more concerned about the hundred grand, it's hard earned.

I told them to stop talking/ fighting about it, and give us until Tuesday to get a bail reduction hearing.....

Have to pay the full sum of hundred grand? not like 10% of it?

Let the kid sits in the jail.

The family sure tears apart if the kid jumps bail to flee and hundred grand bail money gone in smoke..

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Still, even reduced I'm sure it will be a lot of money...

What can you buy for $100k over there? Can you buy a flat or a house?

I know not in Manhattan, but somewhere else? What are the prices?

I know that's insensitive of me, but I'm just curious... And interested in property prices ;)

So forgive me if I'm rude :)

In a criminal/ immigration case like this, the goal is to plea to a lesser charge to avoid deportation.

I told his father, don't worry about a conviction, worry about deportation. And worry about straightening out the kid when her gets him back.

I learned today, that the kid quit the vest factory about 18 months ago. Told his dad he was a delivery man. And he really didn't work.

You're thinking of bail bonds. That's the full amount still paid, the 90% is borrowed.

1- no one's gonna put that up for this kid.

2- if they do, they want half down

3- interest is 26%

I can only imagine how painful for the parents is seeing their child to waste all the opportunities they're been given...

i don't understand the point of bailing him out, if as you say it's almost a given that he'll be deported at some point anyway.

We'll know more shortly. If your kid is sitting in jail, you'd want to bail him out right?

That's the whole goal here is to avoid deportation. We've determined that this morning with his father.

They'll style for a conviction, even jail time, as long as he doesn't get deported.

As long as he can beat the "with intent to sell" portion. He'll be ok.

Well, Niki's house is low 200s?

Brats condo is under a hundred clicks?

A 2 bedroom co-op in Brooklyn is in the 200s?

Tarklars house is 10 grand, I mean worth 10 grand....

You can buy 6000 tons of darklars manure for 50 grand.....
