This is what ulcers are made of.....

This is the second call I got from that family today.

The first call was....

"Lisa got into an accident in Staten island"

Me "where?"

Them; "I don't know"

So what are their expectations of you?

Should you locate her or what? :P

So what are their expectations of you?

Should you locate her or what? :P

they expect me to......

locate him (which I did)

Get him outta jail (which my friend tried to do)

Get him off (beat the rap), which I'm not getting involved.

Because if he doesn't beat the rap, this is a jail case, meaning he will go to jail.

And if he goes to jail, when he's done serving his time, he will be paroled, but paroled to ICE.

And, drugs offenses will get him a ticket home to china (which is where all these idiots (and fooks) belong anyway.

The bail is 100K, that's high, way high. The charges are serious. A1 felony. that's up to 25 to life.

My friend will try to get the bail lowered for now.

BTW, Kenny's mother (the bad guy's aunt), is ready to pay the bail.

Now, here's my thinking of what this kid is thinking.......

if he flees to china, he's in china, and don't have to go to jail. Never being able to come back.

If he goes to trial, and loses, he goes to jail, and then back to china, never being able to come back.

Difference is, if he just flees and skip bond. He's not in jail.....freedom.

So, you think he's a flight risk?

You think he gives a kupa about his dad owing his aunt a hundred grand? (Which he's never going to be able to repay?)

man I'm dreading the day already......

now I have to track down the accident report for Lisa too.

Now, see, this here family. Revolves around Kenny's dad.....who has 3 siblings and they have 4 kids each.

His wife, has 3 siblings that are fairly fresh immigrants. All legal......

Kenny's dad. we'll call him "W", is the oldest son. comes over from China in 1983. Broke. He went to work. Armed with determination, will, and a wok. 30 years later, he's ###### rich!

Now I never knew he was my cousin. About 12 years ago, I ate in his restaurant, and this is what happened.

Baby's Godmother (The female cop) calls me on phone. Asks me where I am, needs to borrow money, like 20 bucks (that's another story).

She comes over to the restaurant to get 20 bucks. The restaurant manager comes over and asks her about a ticket (which W's sis had just gotten). Baby Godmother took care of it.

The manager goes to W, and told him. W, elated, comes over to introduce himself, and rips up the tab for my table.

We become acquaintances. In subsequent conversations, we discovered that W's wife worked for my mom at one point in the 80s. Eventually realizing that we are cousins. We've been very good friends since. I took his older son under my wing. And that's Kenny. If you ever met this kid (well, he's 27 lol), you'd love him in 10 minutes.

A very respectable man W is, carries the whole family. Everyone works for him now.

I guess this was a rhetorical question, right?

If he's off the arrest (or whatever that place is called), he's out the USA as quick as possible (if he has and ID, of course).

Expecting their parents to help him to seetle in China. Not giving a kupa that they'd have a debt to pay.

Steve, i smell a lot of favors in the favor bank. If kenny's cousin gets acquitted, install him on your farmland, grow vegetables, secure horse manure.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

They will of course, demand that he surrender his lowly china passport. But he'll find avenues of leaving.

Yeah, that's what I thought - about the passport.

They want to be sure he doesn't escape.

But - as you said - he will leave no matter what.

And... what is his relation to Kenny again?

Too big family to keep it all up :P
