Well this one's actually pretty easy. Follow the trail. Track down the aided card by the police, and the ACR, ambulance call report. Then the ER and hospital records. Then subpoena the surveillance from the casino. And voila, that'll paint a pretty clear picture of what happened.

And depends on what there is, and what the family expects, the casino will be quick to settle with some "shut up money".....

But I'm not getting involved.

All I want is......Jew food! Yeah baby!

You think the casino is negligent in some way? Like not responding fast enough when the guy collapse?

The casino can't be faulted if the guy gambled non-stop till he dropped dead.

If they were, then the payout is more. Negligent or not, the casino lawyers would be quick to pay with a couple of hundred grand. They call it "shut up money", as in, shut the f up and go away. That's peanuts to them.

Family gets a little payout, shyster gets paid, I get Jew food.

If the casino was negligent, that may go into the 7 figure range. Then I want a referral fee.

Steve-O-Detective-O !

He was alone.

I haven't seen any reports, not my job. I don't wanna get involved.

But he did call his father at a certain time and said he was coming home.

You're right. But in practice, that's not how it works. An injury shyster salivates at this. He's only looking at the fact that the casino has the ability to pay. That's it.
