06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Saturday GS report, see man:

Arose at o'dark-Many for GS-ing, yawn man.

Mrs. T-B., Mama-Mrs.-T-B., & even Mini-B. receptive, she and senior she and wee man.

All piled into Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, crammed man.

First stop a lightly populated mass-subdivision GS, several in one place man.

The chicas bought (= made us buy) several items of chica-clothing, $i man.

We found 2 long-sleeved dress-shirts, with cleaner's tags still on, for $2, deal man.

Second stop a casa GS, usual man.

Chicas got an apparel item + earrings for $1-&-a-half, deal man.

Several of next stops not there at all or of no interest, sigh man.

Mini-B. & therefore Mrs. T-B. began beefing, shut UP man.

Had to turn around to take them home after not even 2 hours, grrr man.

Went back out on own, determined man.

The haul, see man:

-- Many-pieced sailboat for Mini-B. = $1, deal man

-- Helicopter for Mini-B. = $1, deal man

-- 2-pc. twin sheets = half a buck, steal man

-- Carrier truck, Lightning McQueen puzzle, & Transformers for MIni-B.;

globe bulb; covered casserole-dish; Pyrex casserole-dish;

Pyrex serving-dish; unopened liquid soap; unopened Ajax cleanser;

2 unopened shaving-gels; unopened Redken dandruff shampoo;

unopened bottle of Skunk-Odor-Remover liquid = $Many

($2x2x2x2+2+1), moving-sale steal man

Total = $Many ($2x2x2x2x2-half a buck), steal man.

Returned casa-ward to bestow goodies on Mini-B. et al., generous man.

Mrs. T-B. sternly informed us that Mini-B. was misbehaving, bad wee man.

He was not to receive ANY new toys, said She Who Must Be Obeyed she man.

Mini-B. saw carrier truck, excited wee man.

With horse out of barn, Mrs. T-B. told us to off-hose it in back yard, dusty man.

Hose had been left on for indeterminate time, ADD she man.

We told Mrs. T-B. about new Pyrex et al., helpful man.

Mrs. T-B. nearly ripped us a new one, fierce she man.

We thanked her for allowing us to buy her all the new clothes, gracious man.

Was permitted a siesta, somehow man.

Took siesta, successful for nearly first hour only zzz man.

Was awakened by kitchen clattering, truncated zzz man.

Staggered downstairs, loopy man.

Saw food in recently bought dishes, see to believe man.

Mrs. T-B. said, "My mom loves these for what we're taking to the party tonight," sheesh man.

Mrs. T-B. & Mama-Mrs.-T-B. prepped for hen-party, chatterbox chicas man.

We took Mini-B. to feed ducks at pond, we and wee man.

However, neither ducks nor geese interested, feasted already we guess man.

Mini-B. requested water, thirsty wee man.

We had none in T-B.-mobile, drank it already man.

Went to burger joint for water & French fries + ketchup, major food group man.

Mini-B. satisfied, glee wee man.

Went to playground area at school, we and wee man.

Mini-B. gleefully played with a 2-, Many-, and Many-year-old, companionship man.

Returned to casa Many hours later, exhausted we and wee man.

Mrs. T-B. & Mama-Mrs.-T-B. returned from party, few minutes later they man.

We prepped to attend neighbor's Manyth birthday party, free dinner man.

Mrs. T-B. showed up later, party-animal she man.

We convinced her to bring Mama-Mrs.-T-B. & Mini-B., they man.

Mrs. T-B. retrieved same, everyone man.

We: "Did you let the cat escape, huh man?"

Mrs. T-B.: "No! She's still inside, si man."

Had great time at party, ingest much man.

Mini-B. cavorted with little friends, further exhaustion glee wee man.

At Many p.m., walked back to casa, all man.

Cat was outside front door, miu and ADD she man.

Dished the warsher, must de-dish man.

Warshed kitchen rags, must dry kitchen rags man.

Cat prep zzz man.
