Yes. In most Canadian feedlots, they exist simply for the finishing of the beef. Cattle spend maybe a month there before slaughter. Cattle are otherwise raised normally, in fields with grain added.

Drove through northern texas. Discovered why people hate feedlots. They are not the same in Canada as the USA. Buy bison!

Northern Texas ain't really Texas in all places, no Niki-B. ma'am.

However, there is the town of Canadian, Texas, and the Canadian River, eh ma'am.

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Awful casa-ward commute, weird week thereof man.

Mrs. T-B. unimpressed with morning GS score of hormiga del fuego-killer, no she man.

Chilled on bed while Mrs. T-B. got all dolled up, typical she man.

Went to movie with dolled-up Mrs. T-B., we and she man.

Mrs. T-B. going crazy taking selfies, typical she man.

World's biggest disaster: "No space left on memory card," end of universe man.

Walked into theater with hot tamale on our arm, see she whee man.

Theater one of those places to order dinner & eat in seats, efficient man.

Movie very good, see man.

Food good, ingest man.

Food price good for rip-off place, unexpected man.

Mrs. T-B. left movie twice to call Mama-Mrs.-T-B. to inquire about Mini-B., she and senior she and wee man.

After movie, gassed & warshed T-B.-mobile, much-needed man.

At casa, let Mrs. T-B. go in to minister to still-unbedded Mini-B., missed Mommy wee man.

Took Mrs.-T-B.-mobile for gassing & warshing, much-needed man.

Only time to get -mobiles warshed is after Many p.m., definitely man.

Both -mobiles got exact same miles-per-gallon, see man: Many.Many, precisely man.

Mrs. T-B. swears that she informed Mama-Mrs.-T-B. about GSs tomorrow, ADD she man.

Morning comes very early (precisely, at Many a.m.), truncated zzz man.

Cat prep zzz man.

Mornin', sick Commie- and other babes with refulgent +1 inventories!

Dogs are awake and they get fed well by the time they are done eating it starts raining out. So now they won't go outside :protest: So I have the dogs gated in the bathroom, no way are they getting the run of the house when they didn't go outside!

So now my little mountain climber running around the house calling Ollie! :devil: Dogs are going to have to hold it till the rain clears, amazingly they will hold it when gated up but if loose they won't :ranting:
