Btw, what I read on IRS.GOV is:

This is good news for me, although it was not working earlier. The bad news is that the web interface is down since someone stole 100,000 account information from this page a few days ago! (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/apnewsbreak-irs-thieves-stole-tax-info-100000-31317464)

So we still wait, but I am also waiting to get some proof of continuous contact printed. My ink ran out.

I thought I had heard a part say for immigrant and k1 visa. Maybe this is why she said she did not have my informations because I called the immigrant visa line.

What I and others have said, and what I have actually done, is call (603) 334-0700.

If you want to call the non-immigrant line, you can - no one's feelings will get hurt.

At the DoS stage, you will find that the K-1 non-immigrant vs. immigrant line will get blurred. For example, you fill out the DS-160 for non-immigrant on CEAC.GOV, but you check your case number under immigrant visa section.

ah okay that makes sense. But why can't they clearly write down what visa to what section belongs and what number the should call then . would be way easier to understand for a lot of people I think.

Without credits?

Don't waste money buying credits. If you have a computer, you can do a video call and turn the video off so it's audio only. My fiance and I don't always have stellar signals, so if FaceTime can't support video, we just do audio over Skype without a problem.

Hm without a Camera it's not working with camera anyway..so with a headset..but you can't call NVC without having credits.

Last stretch! Just make sure your documents are complete and up to date. And during your interview, just be confident and answer the questions honestly and you'll be fine. Good luck!

I went ahead and scheduled our interview using the non-immigrant embassy tool. I sent an email last week asking for them to schedule the interview, but still nothing. However, while our DS-160 ID still shows 'No Status' and our KBL# shows 'Ready', the KBL shows an update as of today. Strange...
