The medical information flyer and/or appointment confirmation email should confirm what he should do.

On ours, it says to not fast. It's very strict language. (Another reason why I wanted to get our medical before the 17th of June.)

Ours doesn't say anything about it, so I don't know what I should tell him. It just gives the cost of the basic exam, then the caveat that if he needs further tests that he is responsible for any other costs.

Hey, guys, I'm starting to panic actually.

My dad will be a co-sponsor, he is well above poverty level but his spendings are bigger than income written on tax information. I'm worried that CO will ask my fiance to find another co-sponsor... Noone told me any info about this...

That's strange since our embassy is clear to eat normally. Check the sites on the neighboring embassies and see what they say. If they don't say, then maybe he can eat?

Then your dad had a really bad year, has non-taxable sources of income or had cheated on his taxes.

He can either use his net assets to compensate for the shortfall or amend his return claiming all his business income. However, I don't know how the officers decide on the acceptably of a co-sponsor that loses his shirt each year, but has a healthy amount of equity built up throughout those same years...

It's pretty vague everywhere I'm looking for Morocco, but I'm thinking he's ok to eat.

Well the thing is, we had to pay for 2 mortgage houses. However, one of the houses we gave for rent and kind of had money for that. Right now we are trying to sell that house.. So, I hope my bf will be able to explain this at the interview... I've tried contacting lawyers about this case and noone could help me :(

Lawyers that won't take money to take a case? No matter. If the losses come from real estate activity and only real estate activity, then maybe the explanation is simple; however, your dad will need to explain, not your fiancé. You don't need a lawyer, you need a CPA!

If you provide a cash flow statement and your dad's bank statements, then you may be good. The losses shouldn't exceed his income, but I don't know what the return looks like. He can't deduct mortgage payments, but depreciation is a non-cash expense that should help your case.

All is not lost, but don't delay in getting an explanation developed!

Thank you!

I told my dad ahead a time that he will need to provide a bank statement with a big amount of money + we are really hoping to sell a house basically in the next 3 weeks. But honestly, I probably still will be really worried :)

And yeah, lawyers either did not call me back or said that they are not taking any cases in the middle of the work already.

I had to get a Co-sponsor because my business deductions took from my overall earnings, and my part time job does not qualify alone.

My fiancé contacted my embassy by email, ask if he's encouraged to come and also about the confusion on the visa fee cause one site said 240 usd and one said 265 usd. The embassy only answered for the visa fee and nothing else. It's been 9 days since my case arrived there and they haven't contacted me yet, it's frustrating!
