Hey guys, I have a question. I read on another thread that someone was denied a K1 recently and had answered the question, "When do you plan on being married?" with "As soon as I arrive in the US." Someone had said that might be a red flag because it showed they were more interested in being in the US than in being married. What do you all think?

I would suggest reading the entire post. The beneficiary is from a high fraud country. They had only met once for 2 weeks and were introduced by a family member. You combine all of those things and that is where the red flags come in. Many senior members responded back to that post the same way. What the CO is looking for is that you are marrying within the 90 day timeframe.

Can I suggest that before printing the pages and pages of FB, Skype, etc chats that take a look at reviews for other K-1 interviews for the Embassy you are using or Embassy focused threads. While most require the same forms and letters of intent the amount and types of supporting documentation varies. The London UK Embassy requires very little additional information. The interview stage should be very embassy focused.

I did read the whole post; I was just asking for what people thought might be a better, more complete answer. Yes, they're from a high fraud country - so is my fiancé - just trying to make sure all of our i's are dotted and our t's are crossed.

Oh okay, I see. Sorry, I did not realize that his country was considered one. I think I would follow the great advice they were mentioning.

I went looking for a great post that I had seen but I cannot find it. The petitioner had created a scrapbook of their life together for her fiance to take to the interview. She basically created a timeline for their relationship thru pictures and snapshots of their chats. She also had snapshots of them talking to each other on Skype. If I remember correctly the feedback from the CO was good. Darn I wish I could find that post.

That sounds like a great idea! Plus a scrapbook would be a lot of fun just to have to look back on anyway! Thank you!!! :)

Go to Skype.com and you can get your call log from there. For the application I found only screenshots.

Don't bother with the FB wall posts. If you have lots of call logs, the text chats shouldn't be needed. They just want to see proof of consistent and regular communication.

Thanks :) lol we been on the phone 24/7
