March 2015 K-1 Filers

Some good news for TSC filers..... TSC moved forward two days to CSC's one. :luv:

How is that good news? I appreciate the sentiment, but the VJ average means very little. It is based on some sort of algorithm that I am not privy too, but takes past approvals into account. I moves forward one day but can easily jump back 10 days the next... It is all based on the accuracy of the underlying data - rubbish in rubbish out...

Also, this is unfortunately not at competition - CSC has a long way to go to degrade to TSC levels and no one wants that. Trust me, I am frustrated as hell at being given crappy service at TSC whereas CSC filers have generally sailed through, but that doesn't mean I want anyone else to suffer through this.

Btw, CSC has probably never processed as fast as they have been processing the past months - so people really need to chillax and take the VJ averages with a grain of salt.

I enjoyed reading this post the other evening. While it is an older post, it was very informative and the process has probably not changed too much over the years.

I missed something...I think we are talking about the same thing, but...

Yeah, after the NOA2, we should expect a letter from Department of State, which is NVC, correct? I was saying DOS as in Department of State, not USCIS. I thought NVC was DOS?

just want to say we never recieved any notice from anyone if our case was sent to NVC, and we didnt recieve any letter or notification that NVC had recieved or assigned our case. We stayed on the phone for 3 hours to find out. You wont hear anymore untill you get package 3 from the Embassy. A tad bit frustrating that thats how the system works after noa2, like a silent hole. But just keep calling NVC, and call them 7am their time or 11pm their time. We only waited 6 min everytime we called there. Last time we called midday and got stuck for 3 hours, just to hear the case number lol :-)

m kinda sad to see how this forum has developed. I personally think, that everyone is going through their own pain, heartache and struggles with being apart from our loved ones. I know I felt almost every feeling there is while going through this period of 3 years with only seeing my fiance every 2-3 months, i know some dont see them for longer but we are fortunate to make it work even if its only for a weekend visit or me giving up everything for 3 months and coming home to my Fiance in California, every goodbye in the airport feels like my heart got ripped out for weeks afterwards.. Noone understands except for all of you guys. My family and friends will never understand how it feels everyday sitting and just feeling alone even in others company because my better half isnt here. Dreaming about not feeling like life is on standby waiting to start our lives together to marry and have kids, mine has been 3 years of being on hold for this journey to end and life to begin. Worth every single minute of it though...And i cant come home till someone i dont know "allows" me to marry the love of my life. Thats just something noone else understands. Everyone else gets to be with their loved ones, but we all in here have to wait for strangers to tell us if we can marry the love of our life.. So.. I know i got my NOA2, but only i know how far out and long the wait for even being able to apply for all this has been. But i passed no judgement to anyone or feel sorry for myself in that matter. Is it bloody frustration waiting for NOA2 and nvc and interviews and not knowing at all when, where or if.. :-/ yes!! Is it effing stressful?? Yesssss..want to do it all right so theres no delay and a smile could possibly sneak in again... it messes with our mind and soul. But please lets keep encouraging each other and support everyone no matter if someone " got ahead in line" and got their approval before others. We are all in the same boat and lastly, we will all get approved in the end and be with the soulmate we are doing all this for ❤️❤️I am aware how seriously unfair it is the TSC petitioners has to wait for what i would classify as a lifetime just to get an approval.. It isnt fair nor will it ever be. I have talked to a lot to people about how i couldnt imagine if we had to wait so long for again, eventho i WOULD and WILL still do it cause i love my fiance larger than life!! And I will be with him forever till death do us part when our time comes soon!! Theres no life without him no matter the wait!! , but then again i waited 3 years to just be able to do the petition with my fiance in California.. I think i would die slowly from heartache if i had to wait yet another year. And all my summer clothes are in our condo in Cali so hehe.. Anyway, i have nothing but sympathy for everyone in this journey, but it wont be forever. " This too shall pass"! The mind and body stresses from thinking 24/7 about all these things! But its worth it! I wish for speedy and fast approval for all of you no matter what center you are in. We all have different timelines. Hugs and more hugs to you all!! Camilla Copenhagen. And yes i wrote a novel, sorry guys im kinda a babble head :-) i hope noone misunderstands me. I just wanna spread some love on this rainy saturday night in Copenhagen.

? I do get your frustration! I get the feelings, ive been there. But i promise you, these feelings will pass. We are just fortunate enough to be able to see this through sooner than half the people in here who waits 200 + days. I take my hat off, if i wore one, to those who are able to keep their head up and encourage each other despite them waiting in TSC for a life time. Us in CSC should do the same ❤️ Love and hugs here from Copenhagen! ??❤️ Edited by Toddandcamilla

Thank you for posting this. I understand where point #3 affects TSC, yet points #1 and #2 still affect CSC as well and although I have tried to explain ad nauseum to some folks here the reasons why they are at 44 days and no NOA2, yet another got theirs in around 20 days, they complain about lazy people working at CSC sitting on their arses.

People all over the world see Americans as entitled, arrogant and even called "Ugly Americans". Sad to see that some of the beneficiaries are already feeling like they are entitled to VIP treatment at the CSC and acting like a petulant child when their sibling gets a bigger piece of cake than they did. If I am their petitioner and saw my fiancee' acting this way on a public forum, it would be a red flag.

I'm pretty sure you would pee your pants to be at 44 days and be at the cusp of getting your NOA2.

Again, thanks for posting this. Hopefully it gives some anxious petitioners as well as their beneficiaries to get some reality for another person with common sense.

We are here to listen and support one another not to put down other person :) Oh by the way what is your problem with those people who have frustrations of waiting to get NOA2? We have right to express what we feel so what's the problem with that. I'm not here to argue with you or to anyone here.

Still haven't been received by NVC, but I haven't bothered calling them in a week, so it may have been received, but I'm not sure.

just want to say we never received any notice from anyone if our case was sent to NVC, and we didn't receive any letter or notification that NVC had received or assigned our case. We stayed on the phone for 3 hours to find out. You wont hear anymore until you get package 3 from the Embassy. A tad bit frustrating that that's how the system works after noa2, like a silent hole. hsgx2, your case may be there too. My fiance told me I was wasting my time by calling yesterday, but I told him I would because of Toddancamilla's update. In addition, two other threads I was following from people waiting since their March NOA2 date said they were transferred.

No, I haven't received any notification from NVC as I was previously told I would, but knowing it's there is a relief. I wish I had words of comfort for those at CSC that were expecting their cases to be touched by now, and I know we have some TSC people waiting here too. We can't be insensitive to each other because we know that waiting and not knowing gives us a feeling of being lost. If someone posts something insensitive, please try not to attack them verbally. Please post your opinion and viewpoint in a respectful tone. No one on here wants others to feel bad about the position they are in. Try not to see the negativity in someone else's post, but instead, try to see their pain. Cutting their wound won't help anyone, nor will trying to defend yourself with hurtful words. We are in this together, so we share our comments freely and with the responsibility of thinking of the feelings and position of the person on the other side of the screen.

“But I say to you who are listening: Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your outer garment, do not withhold the inner garment either. Give to everyone asking you, and from the one taking your things away, do not ask them back. Also, just as you want men to do to you, do the same way to them." - Luke 6:27-31
