So it's been like 15 days since our NOA 2 got approved. My fiancé finally got a hold of NVC after many attempts of trying to call them. He was told to wait for 30 days before they can give our case number because it's not in their system yet.

But i'm looking into the bright side. That means i have more time to prepare all the required documents for the interview plus more time with my family :)

To those who are waiting for their NOA 2, hang in there. Hope u all get it soon :)

Has anyone on this thread been transferred to NVC yet? If so, how long did it take you? How did you find out? (Calling USCIS, NVC, getting letter, etc.)

Good question - we're waiting patiently (well, not really patiently) the several week timeline to call and find out if they received ours yet from 4/17. YourNOA2 text/email was 4/7? Have you called them yet?

Ours is 4/17 as well. We're gonna wait until 5/17 to call since my fiancée is currently here and she'll go home once the case is already transfered to her embassy :)

Yes, I called USCIS (twice) and the NVC. The USCIS says, "Don't bother us again! We have 90 days to transfer the petition!!!!!!" and NVC says "Please try us again after 35 days after the NOA2 date, thank you and have a great one! :) "

I know there is an email address we can contact after the 35 days, and some have had to call USCIS and speak with a tier two person to ask for a service request. I am also trying to be patient, and I won't stir the pot until after May 12th.

I asked how often CSC sends their cases to NVC, but that information is not readily available.... I'm sure it save American taxpayers money somewhere in this process. (But then again, doesn't my petition fee include the cost of transferring the case?)

I had noticed that as well, however just this week on Monday evening, we got our NOA2. So perhaps that theory doensn't work. Best of luck to all who are waiting for their NOA2's! I'm sure they'll be approved soon!

Has anyone else noticed that no one has posted an NOA2 approval for Monday or Tuesday from CSC. I know VJ folks are a small portion of the applications but that is not the norm. Hopefully folks are just excited and have not filled in their timelines.

As a business analyst, I have tried every way to figure out this process. I have decided to give up and enjoy talking about other things with my fiance. We are past 30 days waiting for NOA2 at CSC and I am never going to be able to figure out why someone submitting over 2 weeks after me is already approved. It is what it is. I waited 42 years to find him, it took us 2 1/2 years to get to filing and I would wait forever to get to be his wife. We are both safe in the places we are living so we will just keep going as we have been. I have gotten a very very very small taste of what the folks at TSC are going thru so I cannot imagine the over 200 day wait but if that is what it takes, then I will wait. We cannot change the process.

Try calling today or tomorrow. They normally receive case files from CSC on a Thursday/Friday (i think). Then assign case numbers within 3-5 days :) goodluck amhara, you'll get yours soon :)

So many variables involved, it's hard to make sense of this whole thing. I really hope the end of the week brings a huge batch of NOA2s for folks in both CSC and TSC. :clock:

I checked the website today and it said NAO2 approved April 17. I didn't receive a text and the hard copy wasn't at my mailbox yesterday. So maybe by Saturday. I use the UPS store for my mail.
