NVC is a division of USCIS.

I'm going to need to disagree with you here. If NVC was a division of USCIS, then why do we wait for our case to be transferred? Why is the NVC info on the DoS site?

I think that USCIS and DoS are two different entities.

Hi all. We actually mailed our application in late February, but our NOA1 wasn't until March 19, so I guess that makes us March filers! Unfortunately, we've been relegated to Texas. So after reading the info here, I'm feeling a little down about the processing time we're facing...it's only been three months since I've seen my boy, and I'm already struggling. And I may not get to see him again until the end of the year? T_T

TSC has at the moment ppl waiting for 224 days and longer ...so it'll definitely take till August September

Hey, annabelle.e, welcome to March! I'm sorry about the TSC thing. I was too frightened of that wait, so I punked out and used my mother's mailing address myself. The waiting and not knowing can really get you down. You can't even know if the processing time will speed up, or how many are in front of you waiting too. At least it looked like TSC was processing more NOA2's each day.

Try to ignore the CSC comments because comparing yourself to other's situation can really get at you also. Maybe keeping an eye on the older threads can help you gauge how many TSC cases are really getting approved.

But you can help by filling out your timeline because then the TSC filers can get more reliable data and statistics! I hope 5 months is kind to TSC filers.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize there was a difference before filing our application. I'm sure I know somebody on the west coast whose address I could have used..an aunt, cousin, somebody! Dammit, hindsight!

Khell yeah! Damn, TSC! Let's face it, he's not from the most stable place in the world. I thought about submitting to TSC and requesting an expedite, but I didn't want to run the risk of them saying, "Nah, militant attacks happen all the time - emergent situation - denied! Eh? Some people live, and some people die - humanitarian reason - denied!"

It's horrible, I know, but c'mon, let's be real!

Spoons! Chill, girl! Your petition has or will reach your side of the world! Stop worrying about what happened yesterday! Get everything ready and get your measurements taken! By the end of this week, you will already have your day-gone medical exam scheduled, won't you? If not, you are close! Lol! The system might be on a batch update, but who cares? NVC confirmed it, all you need is a chill pill! Congrats!!!!!!!!
