Has anyone gotten any updates? I still haven't received my NOA1, but I only received the copy of the application yesterday from the attorney, so I'm assuming I'll be getting an update tomorrow or early next week.

My fiance got our NOA1- hard copy (CSC) March 16. We are now waiting for the approval.

Hello everyone. Pretty new here. Been a lurker for awhile trying to read and figure this whole process out! I finally sent my i-129f packet off yesterday and it was signed for today! That's as far as I have gotten. Will update with any and all developments. Good luck to all here. So glad a community like this exists!

We sent ours this week on Wednesday the 18th. It was delivered on the 19th by 8:07 am, so I was hoping to get a notification that it was received by this Friday. Hopefully it will come early next week, but we will see...

Hsgx2, I mailed it on Friday the 13th. They recieved Mon the 16th and I got the text and email Fri the 20th....I see you're in KC. That's my home town. I grew up in Raytown

Oh, I am a March filer as well. Filed it on 3/6, delivered on 3/9 and receipt date of NOA 1 is 3/11 :)

Now we are waiting for NOA 2 and I am preparing for my trip to visit in middle of April and start wedding preparations (like looking for different locations so depending on the time I get my visa, we can have an indoor or outdoor wedding and visiting all his cousins and great cousins, I do not know yet). Wish me luck that I can visit without troubles. :)

I sent our packet on the 12th, it was received on the 16th and forwarded to the CSC on the 20th. I received 4 SMS' and 3 emails within 5 minutes. LOL

I hired an attorney for this whole thing because I truly don't trust that I won't mess it up. But, he mailed it o the 13th, but I don't think he mailed it Express or anything because he also mailed a copy to me and I only received the copy on the 18th. So I'm guessing that's probably why I haven't received my text/email stuff yet.

Also, how cool! I've lived in KC for about 15 years, moved here from Abu Dhabi. So I guess it's turning into my home now. Not a bad place to live, to be honest.

I was going to use a attorney also and my fiancee told me she read that most people don't need one. I would have never done it without her help.... KC is a nice place to live. I'm into small town living now.

I almost did it on my own, but I was pretty scared somehow I would screw it all up and I just wanted it done right the first time. I used an attorney who came HIGHLY recommended by quite a few close friends and they have excellent reviews. The first consultation meeting was perfect and I just knew he would be great, so my fiancee encouraged me to go for it.

I am assuming Missouri gets routed to California? I've heard that it does, so I'm crossing my fingers for that.

@hsgx2 - I'm hoping that the NOA1 comes soon for both our petitions. I'm hoping that the the letters get sent out in batches. For example, when I worked for the IRS, all letters were sent out on the same day and were initiated by computer. Perhaps petitioner's NOA1's are sent off on a scheduled time. Maybe everyone who sent in their petitions from 15th to the 20th all receive their notices on the 23rd?

I am just really looking forward to knowing that this process has begun for us!
