Never mind, I think I found it on the instructions to I-693. I am still skeptical as it seems like we need to trust the government...grrr

You got all of your immunizations at SLEC. All you need to do is include your DS-3025 with the AOS. The official 693 equivalent is included in the packet already.

My guy doesn't think he received the DS-3025 back from the clinic. Did your fiance get the form after the interview or after POE?

In London Tim received a copy of his DS-3025 at the medical with an instruction letter that it would be needed for adjustment of status.

You will use the NVC immigrant line at (603) 334-0700. Spoons suggested calling on a Thursday or Friday, which worked for us! Keep calling because you might get a busy line. Try to call about 7 am EST

Alright thank you for info!

Thank you guys for the replies. I reminded him to ask the embassy about the vaccination record when he picked up his visa today so he asked about it and the embassy did keep the copy. So now I feel more comfortable that we have everything for oue next step! This part was seven months from when I sent the petition to today. Soon I will get the tickets for November 10th! So happy!

hi,

I filed in March as well it went to texas, and by some act of grace it was fowarded to the california office where they processed it in a timely fashion..

although I feel like the wait between the NVC sending case to embassy and receiving communication to finally schedule interview was lengthy we finally were able to get an interview date for the end of October. so 8 months since filing. I think if it had stayed in texas it would still be there. there is much delay in that office

Hello guys,

my AOS interview is scheduled on Nov 30, 2015. My question is my wife has not changed her SS last name because she don't have the EAD yet. Also we went to DMV and they can't issue her a CA Id because she don't have the EAD the her SS is not changed yet but my interview is coming up. I can't even add her as a joint on my accounts because of the freaking EAD not in our hands yet. What other supporting documents I need to bring to the interview since I am short of some proof or evidence of marriage aside from our marriage cert, pics, I already made her my beneficiary on my insurance and IRA. What do I need to bring? Is there a link for questions and things to bring to the interview?

Thank you in advance

Spoons,

I own a condo, the problem is they can't add her on my condo because it is under a mortgage. I need to refinance if I will have my wife's name on it. 2nd I was able to add her as a beneficiary on my life ins and also my bank accts but not actually made her as a joint because she can't get a CA id yet. I have the pictures already and probably I'll bring the original documents that has a corresponding copy that I send to them.

I do believe that your proof is enough but if you want to add more, maybe bring letters from people you know (them stating that they know you and/or they attended and witnessed your wedding).

How about your bills, like pg&e? My husband and i went to the city finance/admin and just requested this a couple of weeks ago and its pretty easy. We just showed passport as id and our marriage certificate.

Hmm you own a condo (am just guessing here) but there should be an HOA document right? Can you add her on that document or when you pay your HOA dues?

I guess if they ask about the mortgage and/or joint account, just let them know that you have limited options on those due to her not having a state id or an ead..

Sorry am still thinking of other stuff that can be used as proof....

Hope this helps.
