Still no update sis? :( usem in manila dont take a long time to issue visas. Hmmm... what was the instruction given to you when yourr done with your interview? Can you call usem to get some update on your case?

Your most welcome. :)

Step5: ok your approved mam and your papers are ok, just wait till our 2go courier text you to pick up your visa from your selected pick up location. Thats the lady told me sis. I called and email them and their response is the same script. Wait until my visa process then the 2go will text me for pick up. Bit worried because most of my batch on sept 21 interviewed this date got their visa last friday. And never get ap like that long

I am not an expert sis but it shouldnt take that long to be on ap (since usem in manila issues visas really fast) based on other timelines here on vj. But once in a while they have cases thats in ap longer than yours. All we can do now is wait... maybe theyre just double checking your documents to make sure everything is in order...

Hello Everybody,

i have a question.

i am little confused about dates to enter.. here is my question

my fiancees I-797 NOA2 says approval notice valid from 5/5/2015 to 9/4/2015

we already went to interview and got apprived and on her visa issue date is 7/7/2015 expire date is 12/29/2015.

so question is..

1.what matter is the visa expire date to enter to USA and get married right?

2. her plane ticket is for october 24 and we are thinking to get married end of november. once you get married you dont have to file right away right if you have financial problem or something???

can someone please explain

thank you

Hello everyone! We are new here. We submitted our K-1 application and it was recieved by the dreaded TSC on March, 26 2015. I'm guessing we should know something very soon. Fingers crossed!

did you go to US Embassy MAnila Website and check the status of your visa if delivered or not. that is where you can check the most current status. if delivered or still at us embassy.

So an update. Got married July, and sent in AOS 31st of August. Did biometrics, and got an RFE for a single signature, returned the RFE with the little signature that we had forgotten, the same day, and now we are sent to Interview zzzz. Woke up this morning to USCIS page saying they will schedule an interview for the form I-485.... Ask me if i want or need this right now. more worries... We still havent been able to get me on a joint bank account since SSN office STILL havent sent my new SSN card in my married name ( been 2 months now )... So to gather ANY evidence of any joint in my new married name, let say that will be a challenge. My EAD approval was gonna help those things along. But now i have to figure out how to get remotely close to gathering that evidence WITHOUT the EAD since thats what my interview is for... oh and we are leaving for vacation on thursday for 2 weeks and i dont know if we should cancel that and stay home and wait for the interview letter and prep our case.....or if we should go, on this anniversary trip to NY where we met 3 years ago and take a immi break in my head :-( Sorry needed to vent it all out! have a blessed day everyone! Hugs Camilla Denmark
