Hi everyone,

Me and my fiance filed around the 10th of March and we're getting worried because we haven't gotten any kind of update on NoA2. It's TSC.

I called USCIS today and despite the case status showing on the website, it can't find any results on the phone. They told me in general that they're processing cases that were filed in december right now and that it could take another 3 months, so that we're in the normal time frame.

Is this really normal? I see others that filed in March got their NOA2... Also, should I be worried about it not finding any info about the case on the phone or is that normal?

Well, it sounds like you need to call back to someone that can at least pull up your SRC# over the phone. I only called USCIS once or twice, but they were able to pull up the number.

The December date they gave you was based on their July 31st numbers on the USCIS website. They are nearly done, but probably closer to February. You are almost there! Only knowing that the USCIS rep can pull up your number will help!! That person was putting in the wrong number and wasn't trying again. That's a little insensitive when people are calling you for help! Shoot, they could have at least tried the number on the USCIS public site!!

Yeah, the part that really scared me was that they couldn't pull the number at first and later just gave me general information so I thought maybe something was wrong. Hopefully my fiance can call and find out something more about that T_T

Hello everyone! My fiance received a letter in the mail yesterday for a RFE for proof of legal terminination of marriage. They are asking for both of us but I havent been married before. My fiance did but he submitted the final legal decree of divorce when filing. What should we do? Help please.

Couple of questions...has he been divorced multiple times (if so then you need to submit divorce decrees for each one - final or absolute) and did you submit all pages of the decree with the signed or stamped pages verifying processing by the court or judge? Did you include letters of intent in your package stating you are both able and willing to marry? If you did all of this then I am not sure what might be missing.

I was looking at the Igor's list and 12 of the last 15 approved TSC cases were March filers! Of the two that were not, one was a very unlucky December 2014 filer and one was obviously a CSC filer from last month. It's a great sign!

You apply for the Green Card by processing the AOS after you are married in the USofA. Details in my guide. Look for the AOS tab. Link is in my signature below at the twisting arrow.
