Ummmm, did you check status on the CEAC website?

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

CEAC says ISSUED.

I checked on US Embassy website ( which some say it is more updated) and it says that they still have his passport. http://www.ustraveld...trackingoptions

UPDATE:

Woke up this morning and checked CEAC. Not expecting anything, status is now "Issued"

So it went to AP in the morning there in Manila and was issued same day. Has to be some sort of record....

Wow, that's awesome!

The police certificate arrived today and we will take it to the embassy Thursday if there are seats available on the train.

Would be so awesome if we also got a quick turnover and had the visa issued within a few days.

:)

Every embassy is different, but I'm definitely pulling for you!

I was shocked to see it this morning issued same day as it went to AP. Manila embassy seems to be at about 2-3 days from AP to issued, so we got lucky for sure.

Congrats for all the new approvals! So exciting! I think the rest of us shouldn't be too far behind!

I saw that there are some February filers getting responses, so it's getting close for our TSC neighbors!

It's been three months since our case has been at the embassy, but we are hopeful that there will be a mass visa printing. I've seen most KBL cases that have been updated in July and the NIV cases that I've seen approved had case creations the beginning of July. I'm wondering if they tend to print visas once a month? But anyways, I say all that to say, I feel like I'm sitting in the anticipation seats with you! I know I'm farther along in the process, but according to what I've seen, a four to six month wait at Kabul is typical, so it just may look like I'm farther along than fellow TSC, but I could have another month or three in front of us too. I sure hope not of course - I hope it's only a few more weeks - but all our time will come. Our wait is nearly over, I'm sure!

Congratulations! Well done!

If you have not already done so, write a review on your timeline.

Seems a lot of the beneficiaries at the Manila embassy got pretty nervous due to posters here getting the third degree from other embassies. The Manila embassy is actually pretty laid back as long as you are legit and your relationship is genuine.

Its been a week since Melanie was apporved. Then a couple of days waiting for the visa to go to AP and in and out of AP in one day. Status now says "Issued" for last couple of days. I think that while it may have been issued, it still needs to go through the printing process before they send it by 2GO courier to its pickup point.

Now just waiting for it to leave the embassy and arrive at 2GO. Then CFO seminar and book tickets. Hoping she is here by mid-week next week.

Congrats to everyone getting approved, visas, and entry into America.

I have a question, Lhen has been here for 3 weeks now, she got her SSN card within a week of being here do you think we can get her a state ID Card as well? We are getting married around mid to end of September.
