Hi Amhara,

:dancing:

On your Timeline, I see your interview date as July 7, 2014 ....... July 7 2014?

Amhara,

I mean on your post it says July 7, 2015 and on your timeline it says July 7, 2014.

My fiancé's interview will be on the 3rd or 4th week of this month.

:goofy: ohmymy

Thank you for pointing that out!!! LOL! I must have been in a timeline-twilight zone! Just spaced out!!

Igor's Dates are accelerating. I see few Decembers in the bin. Next couple of weeks we should see a lot of January and then February approvals. A few of us may get lucky and be ones picked at random ahead of the curve.

It's getting to the home stretch. I think I am seeing some light. The next 30 days will tell a lot.

Happy 4th of July to all!

I really hope your predicted date of August is right!!!! That would be so close and like you say, in about another month from now, we should see our TSC bretheren be closer to the NOA2! I really hope so!

I hope that USCIS keeps CSC as filing K-1s. It seemed that they slowed to about 2 months, but dang, compared to TSC, that's awesome! I'm not one to speak, but one thread I saw was a CSC filer being nervous because he had been waiting for two months! Oh no! If I remember correctly, he knew of the transfer, but wasn't expecting the cases to slow that much, so he was looking at January and February numbers and was expecting his case to go faster. It shouldn't have bothered me (especially me) but it did a little. That's a good waiting time, but not knowing can build undue anxiety, and that is why this site is sooooooo very valuable. Everyone sharing their experiences really helps everyone else!

Melanie has medical Tuesday and Wednesday. She's on her way from Sinacaban to Manila right now. She will also be recieving nearly 4 pounds of documents by FedEx (about $150 to send!) for her interview. Mostly documents that include I-134 stuff and proof of relationship. When you are self employed, you need more proof than just a pay stub and two years tax returns. I had to submit bank statements for 2015 and all of 2014, tax returns for 2014, 2013 and profit loss statements. Gets heavy. Then add in about 30-40 pages of chat logs showing a three year relationship and you get four pounds of paper.

Mel has medical issues that are non-contagious. She has a cyst on her thyroid that will need attention soon after she gets on my medical plan. I am hoping that this is not an issue as my understanding is that their buggest concern is TB, STD's, Hepatitis and any other serious diseases that would create a major health concern to the remainder of the US population.

She is OK with the embassy interview. We talked about it and I told her just to be confident and answer the questions honestly, candidly and not just "yes" and "no" answers. If she answers questions with a little conversation about our relationship, they will have much less doubt. Less nervous = less suspicion.

I actually am more nervous about the medical than the embassy interview. :o:unsure:

Igor's medical went well, and he got one vaccination to lessen what he may have to take here in US later. He was given two envelopes; one sealed to give to the embassy, and one large open one to give to US Border Agent they said. I got very alarmed because I know the vaccination list and xray CD should be sealed I think. I suppose it's possible that this is a copy for him and the other stuff is sealed in the smaller envelope for the embassy, but I'm worried because I've read the "big" envelope containing these items should be carried to the Border Agent.

I hope everything is in order, and it goes smoothly on the 9th. I finally finished my dress today. does it look appropriate for this?

I think it's beautiful and totally appropriate. I like that you made it rather than just bought it. Anyone can buy a dress off a rack. It takes a special lady with talent to make her own dress for her special day.

wow! Its very nice! simple but elegant, this is what I particularly look for a dress. I envy your talent and creativity :) One of my passion is designing clothes but never had a chance to make one as I don't even know how to use a sewing machine lol , so I try to be content on dressing a paperdoll with their paper clothes :D Anyways goodluck to both of u.

Thank you. :D Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a dress from mass production, than buy the fabric, supplies, and put all your time into it. Like you said though, it wouldn't be special then. ;)

That's Great! I went ahead and purchased flights back to the US for a little over two weeks from the interview date. Prices for August start skyrocketing, so I'm praying he can get his visa in two weeks. I feel very confident that we will be approved at the interview, and I weighed the cost risks of having to cancel the flights. It's kinda like gambling. lol

Daisy ordered her dress Sunday to be delivered to her mom on the 25th, so it's looking like the 28th to come to the US for us. :) I'm almost ready to book tickets myself.

Cool, yeah I booked for the 27th just the flight from Kiev to JFK. I've not booked the flight from there to home yet. I had initially wanted to fly out the 24th, and was just watching the fare til suddenly it was gone... went up to business class only at 4k. That's when I decided to take this gamble and go ahead and purchase for the 27th, because prices after that are from 2k to 4k in August. The 27th was the last day at regular rates, so for me was worth the gamble of having to cancel in order to secure the date.

HAHAHAHA I'm not even looking at business class. I would love it but the prices are 5-8K for one way from manila to omaha. LOL
