Just received an interview date today, interview will take place on November 5th, I'll post about my experience afterwards as I know there is another New Yorker on here waiting anxiously!

so the guy said on the 28th my interview i was approved if i have all the correct paper work and the card would be mailed if not he will send me a notice saying what i need then approved i havent heard anything thoo green card or form wise since then should i be worried like no site update or anything even on the I30 that was approved ?

i called the service center it said they had sent a I-797 does that mean they finally mailed my green card ? or i dunno

Hey tomriesgo, I filed in Dallas as well. The processing time is now 12 months so I would say your interview is next March with a notification of interview coming around February.

Thought as much cheers, so whats the difference between the Dallas field office and TSC. My case originally went to National Benefits centre but now where could I expect it to end up, at TSC or at Dallas?

10 april - sucessfull walkin bio + finally received NOAs (day 20)

15 april - original bio date (day 25)

2 june - EAD approved (day 70)

30 july - e-mail received, interview is scheduled on sept 2 (day 130)

Waiting for interview now..

Guys I have a quick questions.

I'm now getting ready for the Interview and I already have all the Documents what we need.

On the Check List of the Documents we need to bring, it says:

- Your petitioner's Birth Certificate and your petitioner's evidence of United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident Status.

My husband is US Citizen, born in the Dominican Republic and his Birth Certificate is in Spanish. Do I still need to have his Birth Certificate translated to english? or is it enough if we have his Neutralization Document and US Passport with us?

The passport is enough but i woulf take it with me just in case they inquire abt it. Rather have it than be sorry :) good luck
