Yay I finally got my Green Card today too!! So happy and it feels like I can finally relax :)

Congrats to y'all. I just received my interview notice and it's for september 29.. Can't wait to be done with this.

- 03/25/2015 : Package sent via USPS certified mail with return receipt.

- 03/27/2015 : Notification from USPS - Package delivered and signed for at 7am.

- 04/01/2015 : Emails/Texts from USCIS.

- 04/02/2015 : Money was taken out of bank account.

- 04/06/2015 : Hard copies of receipts.

- 04/10/2015 : Biometrics letter in mail. Scheduled for 04/20

- 04/20/2015 : Biometrics completed. In and out in 5 min.

- 05/15/2015 : Opened a service request about the EAD

- 05/19/2015 : EAD card picked up by post office.

- 05/19/2015 : EAD card delivered.

- 08/25/2015 : Interview scheduled for 09/29/2015 (approved on spot)

- 10/03/2015 : Card received (4 days after interview)

Just got notification that my interview has been scheduled for September 29, 2015 I am awaiting the letter in the mail

*i130 accepted and assigned to Vermont Service Center - February 24,2015

*i485, i765 filed along with i797c for i130 accepted -- March 31,2015

**birth of baby boy Samir ------ April 2, 2015

*i797c for i485, i765 received in mail ------ April 11,2015

*biometrics appointment notice for april 27, 2015 ----- April 17, 2015

*biometrics completed at East Hartford ASC ---- April 27,2015

*EAD approved(found out via uscis ombudsman) -- June 13,2015

*EAD picked up by USPS --- June 19, 2015

*notification: EAD delivered by USPS to my mailbox (none seen) --- June 20, 2015

* received EAD in mail ------- June 22,2015

* applied for SSN -------- June 25, 2015

* went to local SSA office and got SSN (not card) --- June 30, 2015

Good Morning Everyone!

Today, I called in to USCIS and asked to speak to a level 2 agent. I asked to verify if my address had been changed correctly. After the address conversation, I asked her about my interview and she said that they were sending out interview notices to people that applied in February at my local office. I then asked her if there was anything she could do to speed up the process and then she said "please hold." After she came back, she advised me that my case would be placed in the interview queue within 15 days and to call back after 30 days if I don't receive a letter. I really hope this works :)

1/02/15 Married to a USC

2/20/15 Traveled to Mexico via air with I-131 DACA

2/23/15 Returned/Paroled to USA via air

3/11/15 Sent I-485, I-130, and I-131

3/12/15 Received by USCIS according to USPS

3/21/15 Received I-797C for all applications

3/28/15 Received Biometrics Appointment

3/30/15 Walked-In to Biometrics

6/2/15 AP Document Approved (Day 82)

9/4/15 Received Interview Notice for 10/8/2015 (Day 175)

10/08/15 Approved

So, it appears that even Tier 2 USCIS people don't have all the info - I just got my interview notice through for September 28th - the notice is dated Aug 20th and I had the long call with someone on the 21st who didn't have that info!

I'm so happy that things are moving ahead and I can now start the process of getting really stressed about the interview!

6.17 Called State Senator's office and asked for their help with chasing USCIS for the EAD

6.18 Status updated saying EAD card being shipped

6.19 EAD arrived

6.28 i-485 status updated to "Ready for Interview"

9.27 Interview attended

10.05 Green card received

 

ROC Journey

*realizes that ROC window opens 24 days after I'm due to give birth to first child, panics, and starts to figure out the prep now, even through it's January and 5 months early*

Day 29 >> April 6, 2015 --- Successfully completed the scheduled biometrics appointment (took only 10 minutes, very good staff in Albany :thumbs: )

Day 79 >> May 26, 2015 --- Contacted USCIS to raise a service request for I-765

Day 80 >> May 27, 2015 --- Received an email notification and the case status for I-765 changed to indicate that employment card for I-765 was ordered

Day 85 >> June 01, 2015 --- EAD Card was mailed

Day 88 >> June 04, 2015 --- Received the EAD Card

Day 117 >> July 03, 2015 --- Received the email and the case status for I-485 changed to show interview is scheduled for July 30.

Day 144 >> July 30, 2015 --- Had our interview and got approved immediately. Case status was updated to show that the Green Card is being produced :)

Day 166 >> August 21, 2015 --- Case status updated to "Green card was mailed" (did not see any tracking number)
