Congrats! Sounds easy peasy :)

Went to the interview today in Chicago this morning. Waited half an hour, interviewed for only 15 minutes. Basically we were asked to swear that everything we said were true, then she asked to look at our IDs and asked our date of birth, parents' names to make sure we are who we say we are. Then it's just a few questions like how did you guys meet, are you still working, who was at the wedding, blah blah. I showed her wedding photos from our bigger wedding ceremony in July, she didn't ask to see any original documents aside from IDs, and then just said she'll give the application one last look and that my green card should be along in 3-4 weeks because they are kind of backlogged.

I guess we were her easy case of the day :)

Anyone who had the interview at San Fiego Local Office? I have my interview there in three weeks and I'd like to read about your experience and how did it go with the IO?

Thank you!

I would love to hear about that also, I thought I would be going to the Chula Vista office, but when i got my letter it said san diego, maybe because we moved,

When is your interview? Looks like San Diego office is proceeding a lot of cases lately, a friend of mine just got her letter with interview date yesterday as well!

Congratulations on finally getting the interview date. You have inspired me to start calling every week. We have very similar timeline - the AOS application was sent in on March 27, biometrics done on May 1, and have been in a "we are ready to schedule your interview" status since June 28. Very frustrating but seeing that you got an interview date is encouraging. I hope Chula Vista is finally catching up.

Congrats to all the others who have got their interview dates and to those who have passed their interviews! Sorry to read that Baltimore filers are still waiting (like many others in California).

Any news on your interview ?

Aos local office is Chula Vista, Ca

We have our interview tomorrow here in Las Vegas at 12:15 p.m. While I love to say that I am cool, calm and collected, that is not the case. I am anxious and I am unsure why. We filed back on March 31 and have not had any RFE's. Did Biometrics and went through and received the EAD card no problem. We have everything in order as far as our paperwork is concerned yet still I am nervous. We have all of the required paperwork from the list in a binder along with a joint car title, three months of bank statements, a joint utility bill, two joint credit card statements and made a hard bound book with approximately 200 photos spanning from 2006 to present. I am the USC and my partner the beneficiary and we have been waiting for this day for a long time now. I will be reporting tomorrow in detail on the experience.
