Had our interview today. We were approved on the spot. The officer just asked us to describe how we met and decided to get married and that was it. He told us that we were approved and then he went through I-130, I-693, I-864 and I-485 to verify that all the information was correct. He said that the green card will be delivered in 7 to 10 days.

Glad its over now and no more waiting.

I answer No I didn't received anything....he then said he didn't know why and that he was going to transfered it to my Local office ! And also said there going to send a letter to tell me whats next!!! (interview in hoping) he said if I don't received anything in the mail by August 26 to give them a call to follow up!

I'm glad he told me that ! And the fact that my case has been ready since June 9th !!! It's weird how he didn't why my case hasent been transfered !? Has anyone experince anything similar ? Or heard from someone ?

Had our interview yesterday. Got to the waiting area early, so effectively had to wait only about 5 minutes past our actual time slot. We were approved on the spot, at the end of the interview. I say interview, but really it was just going over all the information and questions already asked in the I-485 (about previous record, been in military etc). He asked us some really basic questions about how we met, and was actually more interesting in asking about my job and employment based green card application (i have a simultaneous employment based application).

All in all, he was really friendly, and the whole process was stress free. We were out in about 15 minutes after he took a few more photographs and looked over our original documents.

In general, i did feel that they had pretty much made up their mind and that the interview was a formality. He didn't stamp anything on my passport or provide any letter stating approval, so i guess i will just have to wait for the welcome packet and the card. :-)

Feels great to be (hopefully) almost done with the process!

Best of luck to those of you who have interviews coming up soon!
