I think they are slow everywhere around the country. Visa Journey shows the average time in Las Vegas as 83 days from Biometrics to interview. In my case it will be about 113. I am 30 days over the average wait for cases like mine in my city. Its easy for me to say this, as I already have my interview notice, but patience is about the only thing you can have right now. Wish we all had an explanation as to why the big slow down during the March/April filers as you can definitely see that it came to a complete halt during those months.

Hope that you get your interview notice soon so that you can finally complete this process.

Good Luck!

We're not taking our kids - just because it would be a hassle (they are 1.5 and 3) would not be able to focus on the interview but chasing after them. I don't think they need to see the kids fysically exist as long as you are both mentioned on their birth certificates and you bring the originals. At least thats how we will do it.

Our interview is Monday july 20th. Little nervous but at the same time I know there is no way they can think this is not a real marriage - with 2 kids + 1 on the way.

I have a friend that said on his interview letter it was written to not take children to the interview (I thought it was weird) I have another friend who took her daughter and she said it went great.

Our baby is going to turn 2 in August, we won't have a choice but to take her with us, we don't have anybody to watch her. I would love to hear back from you guys in case you do take them.

It is always good to make an exact copy of what you filed plus any new evidence you gathered after filing and take that with you to the interview just in case! Good luck to you.

Good luck to you too! I still haven't been able to figure out if my local office is Chula Vista or San Diego since I live up north in Oceanside. It might not matter much anyways. I'm sure both office are very busy.
