I did a service request on June 10th on my husband's EAD card and I just checked the USCIS website and it say on June 12th your case have been a signed to a case officer. I hope that's good news. Does anyone know what happen after the service request is assign to a officer?

Expect an interview, RFE (if there is anything missing), straight approval(without interview)! Hopefully a quick approval! Good luck to you.

I had my interview yesterday. It was super easy and the person doing the interview was very personable and friendly. We got asked for ID and then our current address was verified. He checked quickly through the forms to make sure that all of the documentation was there and everything was in order. He asked how we met and that was pretty much it except for some casual conversation. He was helpful in pointing out resources for pursuing citizenship in a few years and gave us some advice about what kind of documentation we should keep for that process. It was so easy and pleasant, we couldn't have been happier. He did say something that I hadn't thought of but told us to put through a change of address from my Canadian address and the previous address that we lived at here in the US to ensure that the card arrived to me in the mail. He said that they have had cases where the postal service will deliver the NOA's just fine if they don't have the address for the person in their system that sometimes they will return the card back to USCIS instead of delivering.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I got a standard letter that basically said "your case is under review, there should be something within 60 days." And that was 8 days ago. The system is really useless. Hope you get a faster response than that.

Checked the mailbox after work and was really surprised to find a letter from USCIS. Our interview is scheduled on July 21!!! It came when I less expected and wasn't even hoping to hear something soon. No emails or case status changes online though,it still shows "RFE review".
