I dnt understand why people check their status everyday, is it just impatience? Lol. Aren't we supposed to get a text and email when the status change?

It is not necessarily true. I didnt get neither text nor email that notify me any updates of i-765 and i-485.

I have to manually do it myself online to check status everyday

3/17/2015 sent out my whole AOS package thru overnight delivery

3/18/2015 received by USCIS in Chicago

3/24/2015 3 Text/e-mail notifications received

3/28/2015 Hardcopies of NOAs in the mailbox (i-130, i-485, i-765)

4/06/2015 Received notification of biometrics

4/17/2015 Biometrics done as scheduled.

4/27/2015 i-485 online status changed ready to schedule an interview. YAY!!!

5/21/2015 i-485 interview is scheduled for June 23rd!!! OMG so surprised!!!!

5/23/2015 i-485 interview notice received in hand

5/29/2015 i-765 is approved and new card is ordered to be produced.

6/05/2015 i-765 approval notice received

6/06/2015 EAD received in hand !!!

6/23/2015 i-485 and i-130 got approved on the spot!!!! waiting for green card to arrive!!

6/29/2015 i-485 and i-130 approval notices received in mail. (welcome letter) YAY!!!

7/09/2015 Finally, received my green card in hand!!!!

6/02/2017 i751 package to CSC

6/03/2017 i751 was received by CSC

6/06/2017 check was cashed

6/08/2017 NOA 1 received in mail

6/17/2017 NOA 2 received in mail. Biometrics is scheduled on 6/29/2017 

8/29/2018 Case status changed to "Approved", now waiting for Permanent green card to be delivered!

9/08/2018 10 year GC was delivered.   This journey finally ended today!! yay

For me its impatience :-p and I seem to think that maybe they forgot to notify me or something was wrong in the system - specially now I have past the 75 days and I know it can happen any day.

03/18/15: Send application

03/22/15: Application received

03/25/15: NOA 1 emails/texts

04/13/15: biomnetrics appointment letter

04/16/15: successful biometrics appointment

06/10/15: Received email - EAD picked up by post office!

06/11/15: Received EAD

06/18/15: Received interview notice in the mail for July 20th 2015 (was send on 06/12/15)

Is impatient the word? Maybe... But I feel it is being busy with and about YOUR life. I have been in and out of the interview room, no decision made still. Called the 800 line multiple times and they tell me to wait; that everything looks good from their end. Well it's been 3 weeks or so post interview still no word, but the IO gave me some reasons that is likely to cause a delay in my case. Instead of an interview letter, I would have preferred another detailed RFE letter. It was in the interview I found out that the Divorce decree we sent to USCIS was unacceptable; well we got what the IO asked us to get but there's no RFE insight to reply to and I have an appointment next Tuesday in the same building cause of my EAD card, I just pray and hope that they will take these other documents from me to settle my case. Also I got a reply to my service request inquiry this morning from the USCIS office where I had my interview and it says my case is still pending and to expect a decision within 90days from now.

So, it is okay to be concerned and check every time your guts or feelings as you to; you surely have got nothing to lose when you ask questions. if you don't get any response from the Office concerning your case and you feel like its been a while; spread the word... knock on doors... get the phones ringing... be busy like the mail man you are expecting to see.

One more thing... Go through your forms and documents over and over again before you submit them.

SSN applied for will take a couple of weeks, couldn't get a drivers license due to 2nd verification needed due to EAD being so new and not in the system. DHS will send me a verification letter which I will return to the DMV to proceed.

Adjustment of Status (AOS), Removal of Conditions (ROC) Followed by N400

03-13-2015: AOS Packet Mailed to Chicago Lockbox Facility via USPS

03-14-2015: Arrived at Post Office Chicago, IL

03-17-2015: AOS Packet received by USCIS

03-23-2015: Text/ Email Notification: Notice of Acceptance

03-28-2015: NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received in the mail

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made

05-15-2015: USCIS site says expedite complete but no change.

06-01-2015: Case enquiry opened with USCIS as its passed 75 days.

06-02-2015: EAD/AP card in production and to be distributed.

Yes I have and its very hard and frustrating but o well I guess we have no choice. And I do have a work permit thru DACA

Nope so far I think just you and me! and I guess I'm trying to be patient base on my RFE I'm trying to add 3 to 4 extra weeks on my case!!! So there's some here that started around the same time as I did and already have Interview dates for the end of June so I'm thinking that probably and hopefully my interview will be around the end of July or first week of August!!! Fingers cross!!! ;)
