Hi!

Did you get any text or email notifications when your EAD got approved? I signed up for notifications but didn't get any, however, I received an EAD approval hard copy in the mail today! Wondering how long I should wait for the EAD card to show up.

yes I got an email to say it had been approved and received the hard copy on Friday so I'm guessing my EAD was actually sent on Friday or Saturday seen as though it arrived today.

Adjustment of Status (AOS), Removal of Conditions (ROC) Followed by N400

03-13-2015: AOS Packet Mailed to Chicago Lockbox Facility via USPS

03-14-2015: Arrived at Post Office Chicago, IL

03-17-2015: AOS Packet received by USCIS

03-23-2015: Text/ Email Notification: Notice of Acceptance

03-28-2015: NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received in the mail

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made

05-15-2015: USCIS site says expedite complete but no change.

06-01-2015: Case enquiry opened with USCIS as its passed 75 days.

06-02-2015: EAD/AP card in production and to be distributed.

06-05-2014: Hard copy notice to say EAD approved.

06-08-2015: EAD Card arrived in the mail.

08-25-2015: 161 Days since filing and no interview date.

01-12-2016: 300 Days since filingand no interview date.

02-24-2016: Case scheduled for Interview March 26th 2016 (347 days after filing and will be well over a year come interview date).

04-02-2016: GREEN CARD ARRIVED.

01-08-2018: NOA-1 Received (1 year Extension Letter)

2015 decided to do AOS

20 march - packet sent

22 march - arrived at chicago (day 1)

27 march - check cashed (day 6)

5 april - bio appointment received for april 15 (day 15)

10 april - sucessfull walkin bio + finally received NOAs (day 20)

15 april - original bio date (day 25)

2 june - EAD approved (day 70)

30 july - e-mail received, interview is scheduled on sept 2 (day 130)

Waiting for interview now..

2 sept - interview (on day 164..)

3/20/15: Sent paperwork to USCIS

3/27/15: NOA1 case received

4/22/15: Biometrics

4/20/15: RFE (initial evidence, not enough income to sponsor).

5/1/15: Sent back RFE

5/8/15: RFE received

5/19/15: Case ready for interview

5/26/15: Interview schedule for 6/30/15

so far I havent' received EAD or A/P to travel yet

Congrats to everyone who has gotten EAD/interview notices. I must be the only one who has put in a service request for EAD after 75 days and does not have any approval notice still. I'm now waiting until it passes 90 days to send in another request + getting my congressman involved.

03/31/2015 (Day 14): Received hardcopy NOAs for all forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

04/03/2015 (Day 17): Received biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 04/15/2015

04/15/2015 (Day 29): Biometrics done

06/03/2015 (Day 77): called USCIS to open up a case inquiry, case was not assigned anyone.

06/19/2015 (Day 93): EAD/AP combo card received in mail! Online status suddenly changed to card delivered.

07/13/2015 (Day 117): received electronic NOA for I-485, interview scheduled for August 13th!

08/13/2015 (Day 147): interview! I think we are approved?

Grmbl - I just called and try to put in a service request because it was over 75 days but they wouldn't let me cause the time frame is 90 days. I'm currently on a L1 and working so I don't really need it , but it would give me more sense of security if I have it since my company is going through a very rough period.

This is upsetting .

Call back and refer to this information on their own website: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

Scroll down to the section titled "Important Information About Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization". You'll see that you are allowed to make service request after application has been pending for 75 days.

I got a rep like that before, some of them just aren't well informed.

I dnt understand why people check their status everyday, is it just impatience? Lol. Aren't we supposed to get a text and email when the status change?

Sometimes when it does that, it means someone touched/is processing your case. So you will soon receive an approval or (dreaded RFE)
