So I called them today. The first rep told me I had to wait 90 days, after which I found that it says on the USCIS processing time page that you can call after 75 days (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do), so I called them back again and opened up a case.

I was told that I will hear from the processing center within 15 days, either via mail or email. Is this what you guys heard?

Do I just wait for a status update now?

You'll probably hear something in the morning going off a few others including mine. Check online later tonight and see if the case has been assigned to an officer. I was told 15 days and it took less than 1.

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made

05-15-2015: USCIS site says expedite complete but no change.

06-01-2015: Case enquiry opened with USCIS as its passed 75 days.

06-02-2015: EAD/AP card in production and to be distributed.

06-05-2014: Hard copy notice to say EAD approved.

06-08-2015: EAD Card arrived in the mail.

08-25-2015: 161 Days since filing and no interview date.

01-12-2016: 300 Days since filingand no interview date.

02-24-2016: Case scheduled for Interview March 26th 2016 (347 days after filing and will be well over a year come interview date).

04-02-2016: GREEN CARD ARRIVED.

So I'll have my 75 days pass this weekend. How do I inquire ? Is it me or the my husband (the US citizen) that needs to make the call? And what is the number to call? Since I'm wating anyways, I better get prepared for when I cal make an inquiry :-p

You can call as you are enquiring about your EAD/AP. Have your paper work in front of you, you'll need the receipt number your A number, address and persona info. Just say its been over 75 days you would like to open a case enquiry. You can call the standard customer service number and go to the option of case update. You'll be given a reference number at the end so have a pen and paper.

4/06/2015 Received notification of biometrics

4/17/2015 Biometrics done as scheduled.

4/27/2015 i-485 online status changed ready to schedule an interview. YAY!!!

5/21/2015 i-485 interview is scheduled for June 23rd!!! OMG so surprised!!!!

5/23/2015 i-485 interview notice received in hand

5/29/2015 i-765 is approved and new card is ordered to be produced.

I really hope so! Checked last night and again this morning, no changes as of yet! I think I'm getting really paranoid thinking that someone may have lost my application or something...

04/03/2015 (Day 17): Received biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 04/15/2015

04/15/2015 (Day 29): Biometrics done

06/03/2015 (Day 77): called USCIS to open up a case inquiry, case was not assigned anyone.

06/05/2015 (Day 79): received email confirmation of case inquiry. Case assigned to officer, standard reply that the case is under review, blah blah.

06/11/2015 (Day 85): apparently NOA is issued on this day, EAD/AP approved the day before, see next line.

06/16/2015 (Day 90): received hardcopy NOA in mailbox, EAD/AP approved. No updates electronically.

06/19/2015 (Day 93): EAD/AP combo card received in mail! Online status suddenly changed to card delivered.

07/13/2015 (Day 117): received electronic NOA for I-485, interview scheduled for August 13th!

08/13/2015 (Day 147): interview! I think we are approved?

08/29/2015 (Day 163): e-notification that card is being produced!

08/31/2015 (Day 165): I-130 approved, welcome notice mailed.

Did anyone else had a notification from USCIS app on iPhone saying that your case status has changed from "Fee received" to "case approved"?

Two mornings in a row I woke up with this notification, but then when I access the app, notice had changed.

I wonder if it's a malfunction of the app?

Two times I had hope but nothing! Very frustrating..

that's all i'm hoping for. I so crossed my fingers that they now hurt..

I see our timelines are pretty similar. Maybe that "fake notification" a good sign too, that our cases will actually be updated very soon

Day 01 >> March 09, 2015 --- USPS delivered the package to Chicago Lockbox.
Day 08 >> March 16, 2015 --- Received text messages and email notifications for 3 different Receipt numbers.
Day 09 >> March 17, 2015 --- Checks were cashed.
Day 12 >> March 20, 2015 --- Received NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

Day 20 >> March 28, 2015 --- Received letter for biometrics appointment.
Day 29 >> April 6, 2015 --- Successfully completed the scheduled biometrics appointment (took only 10 minutes, very good staff in Albany :thumbs: )

Day 79 >> May 26, 2015 --- Contacted USCIS to raise a service request for I-765

Day 80 >> May 27, 2015 --- Received an email notification and the case status for I-765 changed to indicate that employment card for I-765 was ordered

Day 85 >> June 01, 2015 --- EAD Card was mailed

Day 88 >> June 04, 2015 --- Received the EAD Card

Day 117 >> July 03, 2015 --- Received the email and the case status for I-485 changed to show interview is scheduled for July 30.

Day 144 >> July 30, 2015 --- Had our interview and got approved immediately. Case status was updated to show that the Green Card is being produced :)

Day 166 >> August 21, 2015 --- Case status updated to "Green card was mailed" (did not see any tracking number)

Day 169 >> August 24, 2015 --- Received 2 year Conditional GC in mail. :dance:

OMG I still havent got my I-765 approval notice and its been a week, but I jus checked case status and it has changed to "USPS picked up and tracking number..."

then I tracked it with that given number and my EAD will be delivered on Saturday !!!! So excited!!!

For the very first time, I feel USCIS is so generous cos they used priority 2-day mail. LOL

Just checked I-756 status online and nothing has changed, also, right under "Next Steps" on the bottom right, it said "As of June 3, 2015, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number TxxxxxxxxxxMSC, is currently not assigned for processing."

Did anyone have this? What does it mean? Are they ignoring it?
