I know right!! :@ He was like no madam i can not talk to u i need to talk to your husband. I need his approval. So I made my husband call frm work and also made him file a complain. He talked to a very nice lady apparently and my EAD is approved after 5 min. Prolly coincidence but still happy he called.

My mood is in a rollercoaster frm super pissed off to super happy :P finally something happening after 70 days yay

Awesome! Congrats!

Now its just the waiting for the interview...

I went to SSA office today to change my name on SSN. Was kinda worried they will tell me they don't have my EAD in database yet, but everything went well. The lady told me I will receive my new card in 2 weeks. Next step is renewing my driver license, when I get my updated card.

December 22, 2020 Biometric reuse notice was issued

February 4, 2021 Received an update online that the interview is scheduled for March 16th

February 8, 2021 A hard copy of the interview letter was received

USCIS site has changed from Card ordered this morning to case was approved for I-765, does anyone know if thats normal? I thought card ordered was kind of case approved.

03-14-2015: Arrived at Post Office Chicago, IL

03-17-2015: AOS Packet received by USCIS

03-23-2015: Text/ Email Notification: Notice of Acceptance

03-28-2015: NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received in the mail

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made

05-15-2015: USCIS site says expedite complete but no change.

06-01-2015: Case enquiry opened with USCIS as its passed 75 days.

06-02-2015: EAD/AP card in production and to be distributed.

06-05-2014: Hard copy notice to say EAD approved.

Yesterday June 1st my EAD arrived, last Friday May 29th case changed to shipped and May 22nd it was approved.

-AOS sent (I-485 I-130 and I-765) 03/06/15

-AOS delivered 03/09/15

-NOA email/text 03/13/15

-NOA in the mail 03/20/15

-Biometric letter 03/27/15

-Biometric appointment 04/06/15

Thats normal. This is exactly how my case status changed First it changed to Card ordered then it changed to Case approved.

Although it seems weird because you would expect the case to be approved first before card was ordered but that is how it happened with me as well.

Day 01 >> March 09, 2015 --- USPS delivered the package to Chicago Lockbox.
Day 08 >> March 16, 2015 --- Received text messages and email notifications for 3 different Receipt numbers.
Day 09 >> March 17, 2015 --- Checks were cashed.
Day 12 >> March 20, 2015 --- Received NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

Day 20 >> March 28, 2015 --- Received letter for biometrics appointment.
Day 29 >> April 6, 2015 --- Successfully completed the scheduled biometrics appointment (took only 10 minutes, very good staff in Albany :thumbs: )

Day 79 >> May 26, 2015 --- Contacted USCIS to raise a service request for I-765

Day 80 >> May 27, 2015 --- Received an email notification and the case status for I-765 changed to indicate that employment card for I-765 was ordered

Day 85 >> June 01, 2015 --- EAD Card was mailed

Day 88 >> June 04, 2015 --- Received the EAD Card

Day 117 >> July 03, 2015 --- Received the email and the case status for I-485 changed to show interview is scheduled for July 30.

Day 144 >> July 30, 2015 --- Had our interview and got approved immediately. Case status was updated to show that the Green Card is being produced :)

Day 166 >> August 21, 2015 --- Case status updated to "Green card was mailed" (did not see any tracking number)

Day 169 >> August 24, 2015 --- Received 2 year Conditional GC in mail. :dance:

So I'll have my 75 days pass this weekend. How do I inquire ? Is it me or the my husband (the US citizen) that needs to make the call? And what is the number to call? Since I'm wating anyways, I better get prepared for when I cal make an inquiry :-p

So I called them today. The first rep told me I had to wait 90 days, after which I found that it says on the USCIS processing time page that you can call after 75 days (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do), so I called them back again and opened up a case.

I was told that I will hear from the processing center within 15 days, either via mail or email. Is this what you guys heard?

Do I just wait for a status update now?

03/24/2015 (Day 7): Received electronic NOAs for all forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

03/31/2015 (Day 14): Received hardcopy NOAs for all forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

04/03/2015 (Day 17): Received biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 04/15/2015

04/15/2015 (Day 29): Biometrics done

06/03/2015 (Day 77): called USCIS to open up a case inquiry, case was not assigned anyone.

06/05/2015 (Day 79): received email confirmation of case inquiry. Case assigned to officer, standard reply that the case is under review, blah blah.

06/11/2015 (Day 85): apparently NOA is issued on this day, EAD/AP approved the day before, see next line.

06/16/2015 (Day 90): received hardcopy NOA in mailbox, EAD/AP approved. No updates electronically.

06/19/2015 (Day 93): EAD/AP combo card received in mail! Online status suddenly changed to card delivered.

07/13/2015 (Day 117): received electronic NOA for I-485, interview scheduled for August 13th!

08/13/2015 (Day 147): interview! I think we are approved?

08/29/2015 (Day 163): e-notification that card is being produced!

08/31/2015 (Day 165): I-130 approved, welcome notice mailed.

09/03/2015 (Day 168): Card mailed.

09/08/2015 (Day 173): Received green card!

Best day yet! EAD is ordered and in production!!

Friday is day 75 so I was all geared up to contact our congressman and submit an inquiry to USCIS ... but I didn't end up doing anything! So excited!

September 2012 - Met while on work experience

June 2013 - Moved in together

September 2014 - Engaged

November 2014 - Married (private courthouse wedding, plan to get married with friends/family in a few years)

3/20/15 - Mailed I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765 to USCIS via FedEx Overnight

3/23/15 - Day 0 AOS Package delivered to USCIS Chicago lockbox

3/26/15 - Day 3 Checks cashed

3/30/15 - Day 7 NOA1 e-mail for all forms

4/13/15 - Day 22 Received notice in mail for biometrics appointment
4/21/15 - Day 30 Scheduled biometrics appointment successful in Indianapolis
6/3/15 - Day 73 EAD Card in Production!!! Wooo!!!!!!
6/10/15 - Day 80 Received EAD/AP Combination card via USPS

Ok so today is day 92 for me and my status hasn't change since April 21st. This is driving me crazy :rofl: !!!!!! :cry: Any ways Congratulation to the lucky one who already have their interviews!!!!

Wow! We received notification EAD was mailed yesterday. It was delivered today! Even the USPS website said delivery for the 5th when I pulled the tracking number LOL
