I think most of the people contact their congressman first. You should check your congressman website. For example, on the website of our NH congressman there is a special link called "Help with a Federal Agency" which has all the information you need.

My advice is try to type "contact congressman visajourney" in Google search, it will give you a lot of threads with useful information.

Congrats Lettyana! So happy for you.I exactly know how you feel. Mine was mailed to me yesterday and according to USPS tracking, I should receive it tomorrow. It seems like, finally us march filers, our cases are moving along.

I should get an update about my RFE by June 22, so at least I know how much longer I gotta wait until I can make some actions about it, but fingers crossed they will accept it earlier that middle June :)

Thank you pastorom! I don't see your timeline, but I think you might wait till the end of this week for an update and contact your congressman on Monday, because I've seen a lot of people getting their approval around 75-77 days after they filed and also it usually takes a couple days to get some news about your service request in most of the cases, but you never know for sure with USCIS.

Hi Tweety22,

Nope, nope, I've been checking both my email and my status like a hundred times every day, but no changes so far, which is really frustrating :(

I tried to open a service inquiry today, but the USCIS representative told me that since we had an RFE we will need to wait up to 60 days after they received it to open an inquiry. I got really upset, but I'm not sure that it's a 100% truth, because I've seen people getting they EAD approvals around the normal processing time even if they had RFE too. Also it seemed like he doesn't really know anything and was just reading the information from their website. So I don't know what to think, I'm slowly loosing any hope to hear something anytime soon :(

I know how you feel I'm in the same boat :crying: I guess we just have to wait! which it is really frustrating :cry: but it is what it is will come when it's time let's be patient and you'll see when we less expected its going to come :D

OMG, just checked my cases not even hoping for any good news and had a nice surprise that my EAD was approved today and card is in production. I'm almost crying right now and can't believe it's finally happening, cuz I've been sitting home for almost 7 month now since my visa has expired. So happy :)

Today is a day 73 from the date on my NOA1 for I-765 and I did count the date as day 1.

Congratulations on your EAD!!!!!!! may be the interview date is coming soon!!!!!!! Yayyy for you!

Well at least we know when we can contact them, if we won't hear any news. But let's hope it's not gonna happen and some good news are on the way for both of us :)

I finally got my EAD approval, so now I'm not feeling so inpatient about my interview, I just hope they will except our response.

I am not really hopeful about the interview. Baltimore field office is so backlogged. I just saw they are currently scheduling interviews for people who filed in November. People who filed in January are still waiting. So i have given up in that area.lol. I think I will jut make the best with my EAd for now.Unless a miracle happens.

We should always believe in a chance of a miracle especially when it comes to USCIS haha

I have no idea about my local office, because when I check USCIS website is states they are processing cases from August 2014, but I also know a person who filed in December 2014 and she got her interview in April. So I'm not sure what to think. Anyway with EAD I can work again and renew my DL as well, so my life is going to be back on track and I don't mind to wait another couple months for the interview :)

qiri It seems we are very similar in timeline and also at Indianapolis office - do you know anything about how fast they move? I'm not too worried about the workpermit as I have one now - just hate the waiting proces (like everybody on here :-p)

Wow we do! I haven't seen anyone else from Indianapolis, nice to know there is someone out there! I wish I knew how Indianapolis moves...the USCIS processing time says they're looking at applications from last September but I think those estimates must be highly inaccurate (every city I checked was like 7 months behind according to USCIS).

I'll post here as soon as we hear anything! Hope we both hear something soon :)

I got a reply about my expedite, the email i received told me to fax a employment offer on company headed paper, but then shortly after it says case expedited was completed. Does this mean its been expedited or that its completed as in that said no and want more info? Anyone been in a similar situation?

I have expedited an AP application before, but they never asked for additional information. It just said completed like yours does. I think it has been approved and you will be receiving it soon.

12/05/2014: USCIS requested non USCIS advisory opinion
12/10/2014: DOS received I-613 from USCIS
01/16/2015: Favorable recommendation send to USCIS
01/26/2015: USCIS approved my hardship case
02/01/2015: Received hard copy I-612 approval notice

May 6, 2020 NOA was sent to me. Estimated case completion time December 2020 (7 months)

May 11, 2020 A hard copy of NOA was received

December 22, 2020 Biometric reuse notice was issued

December 31, 2020 A hard copy of the biometric reuse notice was received

February 4, 2021 Received an update online that the interview is scheduled for March 16th

February 8, 2021 A hard copy of the interview letter was received

March 16, 2021 The interview was completed successfully
