May 11, 2020 A hard copy of NOA was received

December 22, 2020 Biometric reuse notice was issued

December 31, 2020 A hard copy of the biometric reuse notice was received

February 4, 2021 Received an update online that the interview is scheduled for March 16th

February 8, 2021 A hard copy of the interview letter was received

March 16, 2021 The interview was completed successfully

Do you know when you do the Biometrics is it just for the beneficiary or both beneficiary and petitioner? I'm going on a cruise next month and have a sneaky feeling that is when the biometrics appointment will be? I'm the petitioner.

OMG you got your biometric's appointment really fast!! I'm so jealous really good for you. Try walk in if the USCIS office is close to your house! Many people do it successfully before original appointment date.

My package was delivered to Chicago March 3rd. And haven't got appointment letter yet and I got NOAs Monday. Let's see what happen haha

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

My hubby decided we should go on our appointment date, cuz our USCIS office is not really close to us, so I guess we will just wait. Hopefully we are not gonna get any RFE while we are waiting.

Do you know when you do the Biometrics is it just for the beneficiary or both beneficiary and petitioner? I'm going on a cruise next month and have a sneaky feeling that is when the biometrics appointment will be? I'm the petitioner.

I believe it's only for the beneficiary. The letter says this biometrics appointment scheduled according to I-485 and I-765 forms and it was addressed to me, not to my husband.

I got all the NOA1 in the mail yesterday and noticed that my place of birth was wrong. It says "United States". I first thought it's some kind of mess up but when I checked my mailed forms I realized I did put my current residence as place of birth, I must have mixed it up with the address lines. God, I'm so stupid, I can't believe that after reading it over a million times I missed this. I will call them first thing tomorrow morning and hope I can somehow fix this without filing a new form... On all the other forms my place of birth is correct. But not on the I-130.

Just call USCIS and you should be able to correct the error over the phone. Address mistake is not such a big deal from what I have heard.

The problem is that I mixed up my place of birth (foreign country) with my current US address. So the place of birth on one form is incorrect. I hope they can still help me over the phone with this. I have no idea if this is major or not since all the other forms contain the correct place of birth.
