We filed for the EAD & AOS on 23rd March 2015, and had our bio-metrics on 22nd April 2015. And, a day later we had a RFE saying out AOS is put on hold, we got the letter yesterday and it says the joint sponsor doesn't have required income. The joint sponsor files 1040 form, and he's self employed he makes well over required. I bet they are looking at adjusted gross income instead of gross which doesn't makes sense because he files 1040 form.

And, do u think that RFE will effect EAD? on the RFE it's just our AOS case number.

Yes, your RFE will affect the EAD. As far as your RFE is concerned, I thought you may find some answers in this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/268534-i-864-for-self-employed/

Best wishes to you.

Well RFE stops the time counter for AOS and EAD and AP. If it is an RFE for initial evidence then it resets your time to zero. You will have to wait and see what does your RFE say

Having said that, this is not the right forum to post your question. This forum is only for March filers who are tracking their progress and not everyone member looks at it, you are better off posting this question in the following main forums since every member would be looking at that.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/7-adjustment-of-status-green-card-from-family-based-visas/

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/130-adjustment-of-status-from-work-student-tourist-visas/

Since your visa says K-3, so you will get better help in the first one.

Great! I am happy for you. Your case is moving pretty fast :)

Thank you! Actually today i just woke up with my case updated. My EAD card is being produced! The date is April 26, only 2 days after my biometrics!! My case is moving really fast. But my husband, the petitioner, also got a biometrics letter since our case falls under the Adam Walsh Act review...it's going to be a tough process.

Good luck to everyone!

You should have submitted the I-693. Looks like you should get your medical examination done and take the report to your interview. If they waive your interview, they will send you instructions about where to send the form. Its typically valid for 1 year.

You should've submitted form I-693 with your original AOS package. But like it says in the letter you can provide it later: bring it with you on your interview or send it to them, if you get a RFE.

HOWEVER since you are adjusting from B1/B2 visa you will definitely have to have an interview, there is no interview waiver for this type of visa. So I'd say consider this letter from them as a heads up, they just wanted you to know that you should get this form in general.
