Since this forum has been helpful and i hopeful for me and my case i wanted to share my Adjustment of status so far.

First of all i came to the US when i was 16 years old in 2005 with a tourist visa I overstayed our visa and I have lived in the US since then. while in a high school i meet the woman who now is my wife we have been together since 2007. We got married on august 2013 and we applied for adjustment of status last month on march 4, 2015. it has been a long process for us and it got to the point of not seing it happen soon but now we are here with Gods help we made and thats why i wanted to share my experienced here.

Since I applied this has been the process so far.

i sent I'765, I-130, I-485 together and i havent had any rfes yesterday i received a text message sdaying my case was updated to interview scheduled to may 28 2015 which got me really excited i couldnt believed that in less than 3 months i had my appointment alreadt even though i havent received the EAD hopefully it comes soon. since this is my first post i couldnt put my timeline in my signature but ill do it after this post. Good luck to everyone.

22 december 2014 - POE on VWP in EWR

26 december 2014 - married

2015 decided to do AOS

20 march - packet sent

22 march - arrived at chicago (day 1)

27 march - check cashed (day 6)

5 april - bio appointment received for april 15 (day 15)

10 april - sucessfull walkin bio + finally received NOAs (day 20)

15 april - original bio date (day 25)

2 june - EAD approved (day 70)

30 july - e-mail received, interview is scheduled on sept 2 (day 130)

Waiting for interview now..

2 sept - interview (on day 164..)

Wow Congratulations...

You are the first one amongst March filers to get an Interview date. We filed 3 days after you and haven't had any RFEs, So hope we hear about our interview soon

Day 09 >> March 17, 2015 --- Checks were cashed.
Day 12 >> March 20, 2015 --- Received NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

Day 20 >> March 28, 2015 --- Received letter for biometrics appointment.
Day 29 >> April 6, 2015 --- Successfully completed the scheduled biometrics appointment (took only 10 minutes, very good staff in Albany :thumbs: )

Day 79 >> May 26, 2015 --- Contacted USCIS to raise a service request for I-765

Day 80 >> May 27, 2015 --- Received an email notification and the case status for I-765 changed to indicate that employment card for I-765 was ordered

Day 85 >> June 01, 2015 --- EAD Card was mailed

Day 88 >> June 04, 2015 --- Received the EAD Card

Day 117 >> July 03, 2015 --- Received the email and the case status for I-485 changed to show interview is scheduled for July 30.

Day 144 >> July 30, 2015 --- Had our interview and got approved immediately. Case status was updated to show that the Green Card is being produced :)

Day 166 >> August 21, 2015 --- Case status updated to "Green card was mailed" (did not see any tracking number)

Day 169 >> August 24, 2015 --- Received 2 year Conditional GC in mail. :dance:

Congratulation @israelone. Your case just gave me a little bit of sunshine in this waiting game. Only God knows how many times i check my uscis status praying for a change. Hope we all get great news soon. Oh!! and also RFE please stay away from us.

- 03/25/2015 : Package sent via USPS certified mail with return receipt.

- 03/27/2015 : Notification from USPS - Package delivered and signed for at 7am.

- 04/01/2015 : Emails/Texts from USCIS.

- 04/02/2015 : Money was taken out of bank account.

- 04/06/2015 : Hard copies of receipts.

- 04/10/2015 : Biometrics letter in mail. Scheduled for 04/20

- 04/20/2015 : Biometrics completed. In and out in 5 min.

- 05/15/2015 : Opened a service request about the EAD

- 05/19/2015 : EAD card picked up by post office.

- 05/19/2015 : EAD card delivered.

- 08/25/2015 : Interview scheduled for 09/29/2015 (approved on spot)
