Well, 10 days is nothing. ppl wait for months to receive any update after their bio. So you should not be so nervous.

You WILL have an interview.

ONLY those who adjust from K1 visa have the chance of getting their interview waived. Their relationships already went through scrunity at the US Embassy K1 interview. Those who are not required to have an interview, receive their interview waiver letter usually 4 months from filing, However, their green card will be approved and mailed only a year from filing.

No. NBC does process AOS from K1 cases. ALL AOS cases are first processed at NBC then they are transferred to the local USCIS office in case an interview needs to be scheduled.

Thank you for clarifying, do you know at what point they are sent to local offices? And do we get notified when that happens?

You're welcome. Majority of cases are sent to local offices around 2-3 months after filing, nobody knows when exactly since you don't get a notification. By the time you get your interview appointment letter with the exact day in it, your case is already at the local office.
