Just went for my biometrics today! Everything went smoothly, it's just such a hassle to have to drive for 2 hours to do this 15 minute thing.

I guess I'm back to waiting for any updates on the cases. It's probably a good sign that I haven't received any RFEs right? right?

03/13/2015: Filed AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131) via USPS priority mail to Chicago Lockbox

03/17/2015 (Day 0): USPS shows delivered

03/24/2015 (Day 7): Received electronic NOAs for all forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

03/31/2015 (Day 14): Received hardcopy NOAs for all forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

04/03/2015 (Day 17): Received biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 04/15/2015

04/15/2015 (Day 29): Biometrics done

06/03/2015 (Day 77): called USCIS to open up a case inquiry, case was not assigned anyone.

06/05/2015 (Day 79): received email confirmation of case inquiry. Case assigned to officer, standard reply that the case is under review, blah blah.

06/11/2015 (Day 85): apparently NOA is issued on this day, EAD/AP approved the day before, see next line.

06/16/2015 (Day 90): received hardcopy NOA in mailbox, EAD/AP approved. No updates electronically.

06/19/2015 (Day 93): EAD/AP combo card received in mail! Online status suddenly changed to card delivered.

07/13/2015 (Day 117): received electronic NOA for I-485, interview scheduled for August 13th!

08/13/2015 (Day 147): interview! I think we are approved?

08/29/2015 (Day 163): e-notification that card is being produced!

08/31/2015 (Day 165): I-130 approved, welcome notice mailed.

09/03/2015 (Day 168): Card mailed.

09/08/2015 (Day 173): Received green card!

Lol! Same here. I downloaded one of those apps on my phone n keep refreshing everytime i grab my phone :P somehow i keep hoping that my case will be one of those fast ones who gets a processed within 2 months >D

22 december 2014 - POE on VWP in EWR

26 december 2014 - married

2015 decided to do AOS

20 march - packet sent

22 march - arrived at chicago (day 1)

27 march - check cashed (day 6)

5 april - bio appointment received for april 15 (day 15)

10 april - sucessfull walkin bio + finally received NOAs (day 20)

15 april - original bio date (day 25)

2 june - EAD approved (day 70)

30 july - e-mail received, interview is scheduled on sept 2 (day 130)

Waiting for interview now..

2 sept - interview (on day 164..)

March 24, 2015 (Day 12) - Received NOA hard copies in mail (I130, I485, I765, I131)

March 27, 2015 (Day 15) - Biometrics appointment received - April 8th

April 8, 2015 (Day 27) - Biometrics complete

May 6, 2015 (Day 54) - waiting..... :whistle:

May 8, 2015 (Day 56) - Interview scheduled for June 10th!

Day 12 >> March 20, 2015 --- Received NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

Day 20 >> March 28, 2015 --- Received letter for biometrics appointment.
Day 29 >> April 6, 2015 --- Successfully completed the scheduled biometrics appointment (took only 10 minutes, very good staff in Albany :thumbs: )

Day 79 >> May 26, 2015 --- Contacted USCIS to raise a service request for I-765

Day 80 >> May 27, 2015 --- Received an email notification and the case status for I-765 changed to indicate that employment card for I-765 was ordered

Day 85 >> June 01, 2015 --- EAD Card was mailed

Day 88 >> June 04, 2015 --- Received the EAD Card

Day 117 >> July 03, 2015 --- Received the email and the case status for I-485 changed to show interview is scheduled for July 30.

Day 144 >> July 30, 2015 --- Had our interview and got approved immediately. Case status was updated to show that the Green Card is being produced :)

Day 166 >> August 21, 2015 --- Case status updated to "Green card was mailed" (did not see any tracking number)

Day 169 >> August 24, 2015 --- Received 2 year Conditional GC in mail. :dance:

I know, me too. I check it approximately every 2 hours and its always the same.

I keep refreshing the case status page to check every 2 hours too, can't get over the anxiety of waiting ?

Yup. Its called USCIS case tracker... You can search it in the appstore. I find it easier to track hihihi i really need a hobby :s lol

So we got back from ou holiday to Belgium on 04/13/2015 and a my biometrics appointment (04/16/2015) letter was in the mail - went today and got it done.

So anybody know what the next step is now? is it waiting for the work permit to arrive? or is there something else in between?

03/18/15: Send application

03/22/15: Application received

03/25/15: NOA 1 emails/texts

04/13/15: biomnetrics appointment letter

04/16/15: successful biometrics appointment

06/10/15: Received email - EAD picked up by post office!

06/11/15: Received EAD

06/18/15: Received interview notice in the mail for July 20th 2015 (was send on 06/12/15)

Well sometimes you can have your interview scheduled even before the work permit arrives because the two are handled by two different centers. The interview date depends on your local office and the work permit is processed by the center in Missouri.

Just keep checking your status. If you do not get an RFE then it will probably update to READY FOR INTERVIEW or it will give you an interview date.

If you get an RFE then it will change to RFE.

There is nothing else to it.

Next Monday I will complete 2 weeks since biometrics were done. I'm so glad I have not had any RFEs yet, anybody knows how far into the process one can be 100% sure they won't send RFEs?

You can receive an RFE at any time...even after the interview.

Hi, updating my timeline. I had my biometrics yesterday around 11am at our local office in Tucson, AZ. I brought my passport, biometric appointment letter and marriage certificate/license. The guards checked my biometric letter and passport first as well my bag without gadgets/phones then they instructed me to go on the first door on the left. The nice woman on the counter greeted me with a warm smile and she lets me first filled up the info (Name , birthday, phone #, A- reg #, USCIS receipt #s for AOS and Work Permit) then passed it . Actually, she's also the one who did my fingerprinting and photo for 10 mins. Then, she stamped the biometrics letter and told me to keep that. We were actually just 3 people on the room taking the biometrics that time. Overall experience, the Tucson office is great. Hopefully, until the end of my GC and ROC journey ;)
