i485 RFE 10 minutes after biometrics?

Hello,

I just received an email from USCIS about request for evidence for my i485 application - but the odd thing is that it is 10 minutes after I did my biometrics (fingerprints) at a local USCIS ASC (super long line, cost a whole morning). As I can't do much except waiting for them to mail me the reasoning, I wonder if anyone here has similar experiences. Does this mean my fingerprint didn't go well?

Yh, its generally a coincidence, although I have seen many people get an update right after biometrics, I believe it must be systematic or something, they know they want to give you the RFE but want you to complete application with your biometrics.

As I said above this is my belief its not a known procedure, just something I see in a lot of threads on this website

12/24/2014.................forms i130, i485, i765, i131 mailed via usps12/26/2014.................forms delivered01/05/2015.................NOA1 for all forms wth 26th dec as priority date01/24/2015.................bio apt received for 02/0601/26/2015................. walk in bio failed, supervisor said that the office is way to busy to come back closer to my apt date02/06/2015................. completed biometrics02/11/2015.................Aos status update 'case is ready to be scheduled for an interview'<p>02/24/2015................EAD updated to 'card in production' AP updated to case approved

09/17/2015....... interview scheduled for OCT 21st.

10/21/2015....... attended interview, approved on the spot, also received updates on case status.

10/23/2015...... green card mailed

Hello,

I'm so sorry to hear that! I wish RFEs did not exist. I think it's a coincidence, it could be anything! Either way, all you can do is check the mailbox everyday to see if the yellow letter is in there. I hope it's something easy!

And after you answer the RFE, it is another waiting game... I've been waiting for 32 days a response to my RFE! I'm going for an Infopass appointment!

Yeah...I wish our immigration system was that efficient.

It's just by pure coincidence...don't sweat it until you get the details

and then just deal with. Usually, it's something that you can correct and provide.

Just want to update you all: I got the request for initial evidence letter from USCIS, and it has nothing to do with biometrics --- you all are completely right. However, I do have questions about submitting more evidence, please refer to my new post if you are interested.
