Hello Guys,

We had our immigrant visa interview at the US Consulate in Santo Domingo on Feb 19th and we were approved (yay).

My question is: How is the visa/passport delivery working for everyone?

It's been 13 days since our interview and no visa has been issued as of today.

Thoughts?

We had our interview on February 23 and we got the email yesterday passport was ready for pick up. My husband went and no issues. So it took a week. Try calling embassy or emailing passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com they respond right away on it.

a little over a week to receive visa? I hope we get it processed this quickly too!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Oh yeahhh! I forgot February didn't have that many days! Praying my fiancé will be able to pick up his visa next week, that would be perfect :)

I went to ustraveldoc, selected track and retrieve passport, and then type in passport #. That's how I found out it was ready for pick up.

There is actually two ways to track your Passport, one in the USTravelDocs:

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/do/do-niv-passporttrack.asp

And the other one is on the MailBoxes Etc Website:

http://mbe.com.do/servicios/entrega-visas-usa-en-mbe

Ours changed to the status below yesterday, still not ready for pickup.

Passport Status :

Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery
