Hi Everyone,

We got our approval today. Our NO1 was March 3 through Nebraska Service Center. Got an email late last night saying we had been approved.

Don't worry, everyone! Your dates are coming soon!!!

I called last week and they told me that Nebraska was working on Feb 21 and that I should wait 21 days. I haven't called back since but waited patiently and it finally paid off!!

Anyone know more or less how long it takes for my case to be received by NVC from Nebraska? When should I start calling them?

Thanks!

Congratulations... w both have same PD and almost same time approvals.. please update when NVC gets your file.

Hi everyone! My husband filed I-130 on March 12, at the VSC. We got our NOA1 just a week after... On the USCIS website it says that on Aug. 20th our case has been transferred to another USCIS office. My husband received the notification letter today saying that our case was transferred to CSC. I wonder if anyone else from March filers happen to have the same status like ours? It's quite disappointing and frustrating that our paper has been out there for 5 mos., only to be transferred to another office, when in that span of time, it should've already been processed. Are we gonna have to wait another 5 mos to get a decision from USCIS?

Hey... Same with my petition...

Got a hard copy in the mail too... And that's the thing, we don't know how long we'll have to wait. Whether they will start afresh from the notification date or give us priority because we were transferred.

And the funny thing is this.... Why did they have to wait till exactly 5 months before transferring our petitions?

I see stories of people that got their NOA1 in July and got their NOA2 in August... Just barely a 40 days wait?!!!???!.....

Also when you call their customer service line they don't give you any specifics on how much longer you need to wait..... Anyways... It's all good...

Hey, same here. I received hard copy of the transfered notice in the mail yesterday. I came across someone whose case was transfered from vermont to California years back and stated that their case was approved in about a week after the transfer. So I pray we'll receive good news this week or coming week. Good luck to us all!

Hi Solzz... I wish we won't have to wait another 5 mos... the waiting time is the most frustrating, cos you can't do anything to get the days to hurry up, lol. And knowing that other couples only took less than 3 mos. makes the feeling even worse. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us though... :) I hope ours come real soon.

Hi Ayaola... I heard too that CSC process faster than VSC. Last time I checked, before I found out that our paper was transferred, CSC are working on I-130 filed in June, so I really hope we get our approval soon. :) Trying to stay positive here, lol.

Not sure where you're getting your info. My case has been in csc for 6 months now. And still waiting for noa2.

Sorry to hear that but base on visa journey's timeline, csc are currently working on June and July petition. You should try and give them a call or contact your senator. All the best!
