New Electronic Processing Requirements?

I just got off the phone with an NVC agent and he told me something different than what's on the EP wiki, so I'm wondering if anyone else has heard the same thing. He told me that the AOS and IV packages should be sent in ONE email and all in ONE pdf. Is this true? He sounded very knowledgeable and was quite adamant that I put all forms, documents, and proof for both the AOS and IV in one PDF to email in. He said this helps prevent multiple scan dates and lost files.

They just want all the files sent at the same time. You can attach multiple files to a PDF but sometimes your server won't send it over a certain size. So just make sure they're all sent at the same time.

Okay, thank you. He said it was a hassle for them to download each document separately and now they prefer one PDF so that they can save them all with one click.

That's how it was originally when I went through 5 years ago. I never understood why they changed it a couple years ago when they wanted each file as its own separate PDF file as it just makes it messy with a whole bunch of files attached, instead of one nice complete file for each package.

I totally agree. It makes much more sense in one PDF. But now I'm a little torn. (I sort of wish I didn't call.) The agent on the phone asked me to please put the AOS and IV packages all in one PDF. But that goes against the "official" rules on the website. I suppose I should believe an actual person over a website that might not be updated, but I'd hate for them to send anything back because I did it wrong. I'm probably wayyyyyy over-worrying and over-thinking about this.

I would do what the "real person" says, if I were you. They have changed the rules a few times now in the past year, and they take forever to update the website to reflect the changes. Yep, given the fact that processing times are creeping up, I would send them all in one PDF as requested. Makes sense.
