I decided to try to do a walk in for my biometrics since my appointment isn't until Friday next week. So I arrived at the place at 3:40 and walked in (they closed at 4), I was literally the only person there. The security guard asked me for my appointment letter and I handed it to him and told him I was hoping I could do a walk in. He looked at me, then at the waiting area and saw that there wasn't anyone there, and he said "fine". ?

I was in and out in five minutes!

To those who have received there biometric schedule(letter)

=did the UCIS status updated (or even got a text/email) that they mailed you a biometric appointment letter or you just got it from the mail without the uscis status update?

We sent our AOS package last Thursday which is March 12 via USPS Priority Mail 2-Day. The expected delivery date was Sat March 14, 2015 and I know that USCIS office was closed that time. Every now and then I keep track whether the package has been delivered yet or not.

USPS tracking website is confusing sometimes and here's what it says last night. (please see the attached screenshot)

Anyone of you who encountered the same issue? The message on the blue box is kinda confusing. I tried to call them, the lady said it has already been delivered but it says on the blue box it has been delivered to Chicago, IL 60699. And I sent the AOS package to this address:

131 South Dearborn-3^rd Floor Chicago, IL 60603-5517

I had my medical last March 27, 2014 that's why I want to make sure that they receive and review our application before our medical expires.

I called USPS three times, 2 ladies said it might be possible that it has already been delivered to the right address but they might have put a diff. zip code when they scan the mail and they just filed a report to verify and said I should just have to wait for someone to call me back (sigh)

Since it was a priority mail I sent it to this address: (this what my friend did and did not have any issues)

i just dropped our Priority Mail Express envelope in the box at the Post Office this morning containing the AOS, EAD, and AP applications. Now for more hurry up and wait from the Feds.

I guess there's nothing I can do for now but to wait for their call, it is just frustrating.
