No, I haven't received any email or text message. You only receive those if you are signed up on the USCIS website to receive automatic case status updates. I'm not signed up for that.

When I applied for AOS/AP in March, I included the G-1145 in the package and I did receive emails and text messages on the day they accepted my application. However, for further case status updates by email/text message I would have to be signed up on the USCIS website. In my opinion that is a waste of time because it is not always reliable and I check my case status every few days either way.

who's application fall in NSC here?

Nebraska Service Center? Those who adjust status from Family Based Visas a.k.a. K-visas very rarely have their AOS/EAD/AP processed at NSC. I have heard about a few cases last year but it was due to workload problems. Our EAD/AP applications are processed at National Benefits Center (NBC, or also known as MSC which stands for Missouri Service Center). Our AOS applications are also processed at NBC then they are being sent to local USCIS offices for an interview - if it is needed. K1 AOSers can have their interview waived since our relationships already went through scrunity at the Embassy Interview in our own countries. AOS from K1 visa is different than AOS from other visas - for example we don't even have to file I-130 for AOS.

But then again, your profile doesn't say what visa are you adjusting from, so I don't know whether all this applies to you, or not.

Anyway, here is a list of what Nebraska Service Center is currently processing.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abc56SCOoEGKbccs7V41u

As you can see NSC mostly processes special cases: employment based I-485, EAD/AP for refugees, asylees, DACA, waivers.
