Congrats! Wow, 55 days, even with a RFE in between! Starting to wonder how things really work, I thought a RFE delays everything (including EAD/AP) because it temporary puts the whole application on hold? I haven't got any RFE and I'm on day 69.

Hi all, I know my timeline isn't filled in since we received K1, but posting here anyway. We sent in the application for green card, AP and EAD in the middle of March, received an RFE in the middle of April, and now the recent case status on USCIS website says our RFE correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it. The funny thing is they never even looked at the AP and EAD applications yet! Seems pretty backwards. Hoping everything gets processed soon as hubby wants to visit home again within the month!

Just clarifying that the National Benefits Center sends these cases off to the local office for processing, right? Will they just send the cards in the mail once done?

Congratulations to those who've recently gotten approved! Can I ask you, did you see this on the USCIS website or did it come by mail first? I'm 55 days in and I'm just patiently waiting, status still says "case has been received". :/ The good news is, so far no RFE so I'm keeping my fingers crossed about that but at the same time it almost seems that the RFE cases are moving faster once the evidence is sent in. *shrug*

I'm so ready to be a "normal" person again, someone who can work to help support my family. Good luck guys, let's keep waiting :)

Hi thanks for your response, I've already had my biometrics appointment. It was done about two weeks ago. Are you saying my status should've changed after biometrics? I thought it would just stay the same until approval or RFE .
