Hello If you filed for AOS, EAD and AP, then yes, you are supposed to have 3 case numbers. I filed only for AOS and EAD, and I have 2 case numbers. I see we entered the US the same day

I just got back from my biometric appointment. The appointment was scheduled for 1pm, but my husband and I arrived at noon. They let us in and we went through security. First I had to fill out a form

Thanks! :) What do you mean? The USCIS Alien Number (#A) never changes throughout one's whole immigration journey from K1 to citizenship. The A# is on my AOS & EAD NOA1 hardcopies, on my K1 NOA2 hardcopy, and it was written in my passport at POE, next to my K1 visa.

Hello guys, i hope you all well, i was just wondering about what uscis does after biometris, do they change any thing on the case once one gets biometrics done, what are the possibility of getting approved without interview?, thank you in advance :idea: :idea: :idea:

None of your cases will show an update on the USCIS website after biometrics. The next update will either be your EAD/AP approval (takes on average a month after the biometrics appointment) or you will receive your interview notice. Alternatively you might get an RFE, this also changes the status.

Being a K1 adjuster, it is likely that you will recive a Notice of Potentential Interview Waiver (NPIW), but in that case the actual approval happens 12 months or 12 months+ after the date of the orginial filing. In my opinion it is better to have an interview than waiting for the greencard forever. :):thumbs:

so

i think that i asked in the wrong forum

im doing aos from k1 and sent the papers on 2/11 but usps did me the favor of losing it for 2 weeks (cause they put a wrong number for the chicago zip code). anyways. The thing got there on 2/27 and the check was cashed on 3/3 and i received the letters. now i never got an appointment of biometrics. should i call or is there anything i can do it? this part is related with getting the travel document? cause i need to go out of usa on august.... thanks all!

I'm sorry it happened to you. You could call your local USCIS office (where your biometrics appointment will be) and check if they already sent you an appointment letter. Yes, the biometrics is necessary for the EAD and the AP. It usually takes a month or so to receive your EAD/AP combo card after the biometrics appointment, so you more than likely will be able to travel internationally in August. Good luck :thumbs:

Hi everybody!

I would like to call my USCIS local office because I still have no biometric appointment but I can't find their phone number... And I can't drive there because it's too far. Do you have any idea where I could find their phone number?

There's no phone on the local ASC (Application Service Center) near you.... I tried but then I can't find the phone too so I called the USCIS main hotline and they said that t ASC offices don't have phones it should really be the USCIS hotline you should call ...

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

I am kinda breathing a bit lightly now knowing that's all they need:)
