We just got back from our Interview and we were approved on the spot you guys! :dancing:

That's great! Congratulations!

Thank you! :luv: I have a question, did your status on USCIS changed after u had your interview? coz mine didnt until now. It still says "interview scheduled.."

My status still hasn't changed, and I already received my 'welcome' notice. In fact I am expecting the greencard itself in the mail any day now, and don't think it will change. So don't worry about the case status, and just relax and wait for some surprises in the mail.

I think their system is being faulty these days with updating statuses. Because the IO told me he would change my status within an hour after the interview and I should check it online, but mine never changed. And I believe a lot of other people here have been having the same issue as well.

I have changed my name after our wedding but my husband will still go there to change his status and remove the DHS authorization written on his SSN. ;)

Our status online still didn't change but I will expect his welcome notice within this week and GC next week. :dancing:

Congratulations on your new job and Happy 4th of July! :D

This is just bizarre..my green card interview was scheduled for July 28th 2015, and I just got another letter saying due to unforeseeable circumstances interview for that date is cancelled. And you will receive some update soon.

Has this thing happened to anyone?
