But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Went to BA website to check this out, and there are a few exceptions that make it *slightly* more reasonable....if you are first class *yeah,right...for us anyway!* you get 3 bags, the middle price range gets 2, and economy classes are who get one....but also, there are other exceptions...if you are going to/from the US, Canada, and several other places, you will be allowed two bags as well. Right now they allow 32kg (until September) but then they will be 21?kg...or about 50 lbs after that....just thought I would add that as most of us here will be flying to/from US...so will still be allowed 2 bags from what I read on the site.... Another problem is if you are connecting to a domestic flight on the way back, you will have to pay again.

Ah, that is some good news. I can understand a single checked bag for an economy domestic flight and getting two for international seems fair as well. Thanks for the news! :)

My husband has a flight leaving the end of this month on BA and I called to see about the policy because I knew he would be fine with 2 bags going to Morocco but the 2 bag policy didn't seem to apply in regards to his flight back. The lady I spoke with at BA said as long as his travel was done by September he would still fall under the old policy. I sure hope she's right!

Well that stinks, A...I wonder why??? On the BA site, it seemed like the *weight* restrictions were going to be lower (21kg as opposed to 32 now allowed) as of September, but the 2 bag allowance on flights to/from US, etc etc (several other departure/arrival countries) didn't appear to be going to "expire" then like the weight allowances....it seemed to be permanent...I hope that lady was wrong! :)M.

I brought that up on a thread a few days ago, and i had some people jumping on my back, I still stand by the same principle, After 911, less revenue the airlines are finding ways to Jack up the customer for more profit, Last year most of the airlines return to profitability. While we as passengers Gone are the days when you get decent service, food on cross country flight(now you have to buy it on the airline)

This father with 2 kids were going through screening and this little boy had an orange juice, the girl a bottle of water, The juice was not even open but when they got to screening they had to throw it away in the garbage but once you go past checking they are charging you $3 for a bottle of water, isn't that a conspiracy. If they block folks from bringing their liquid past screening then the airlines should provide water for the passengers at the terminal once they go through screening, even if it's just one of those water taps.

interesting how the airlines manage to lobbby and put their money to reduce the load from 70lbs to 50 lbs without any major hearing or noise by the passengers, under so called Bags are too heavy, some poor guy is going to lift the luggage and get hurts, now they still do

the only differnce the airline gets money for it.

Time for another tea party
