I honestly think that it will be air strikes only since it would cost millions just to transport troops for this. So the most cost effective way it to send planes to drop bombs and out they go. I think they are building troops to show their might then when it's over send them back home. Just hope it's quick and the guys like your husband wont just be hanging around waiting to be released again. Egypt specially should not be doing this since they have suffered monetarily from the Revolution and the loss of tourists because of it. This is why it's bad to elect a military man, granted there was no other qualified person at that time. I like EL Sisi but this is just wrong if he sends foot troops in.

So after waiting for almost 60 days to get case complete I get another 60 day letter from NVC. I don't know if to laugh or cry. I feel like they are punishing me for calling so much. For no reason, they keep changing my scan date for later. Has anyone had this happened to them.??
I feel frustrated and hopeless.

Real scan date when I sent the document: 2/5 then changed to 2/10, 2/23, and now 3/26. What do I do now??

OMG I'm so sorry, you need to ask to speak to a supervisor ask them why they are changing the dates and are you sure it's not a false checklist? If your not sure then please get a screen shot and remove any information you don't want anyone to see. What are you check-listed for? SOB the torture never ends with them, I think they get pleasure out of this. I'm going to bed but as soon as I get up I'll be checking to see if it's just a false one, God I hope it is.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH hahahahaa typical the idiots love to send out random letters or someone wanted to look like they were working so sent out late or random letter to everyone and you were one of them. They never cease to amaze me! I hesitate to suggest you call them on Tuesday to make sure it's nothing, most of the time as you well know it's a waste of time. But better be safe than sorry.

Have you been sending them emails too?

Sometimes their system detects email communications as "packages" to be scanned. I think it happened to us when we were waiting for our IV invoice.

If not, then it is weird your scan date is just arbitrarily changing.

Not sure but you can also check the first link on the first page of this thread it will take you to Saylin's much more people there to answer your question but there should be a lot since it's taking 60 days plus for CC. Good luck and welcome to the thread.

Still no tracking for my visa delivery. What an utter joke. Why even bother having trackable packages if there's no way to track them? THe embassy assured both myself and the Congresswoman that my visa was posted on Friday.

Why is it that NO ONE involved in this horrific process can do their job? WHY.

Wow a Congressperson really got something done with your case? It's possible? Awesome! Hey I wouldn't freak out, i'm sure it's coming, maybe they are printing it, and it takes a few days longer. I heard it can take up to 7-10 days at max...keep us posted! and Can you tell me when did your congresswoman check on your case and what did she say to you??? Please and thanks so much! I don't know if they got anything done. The embassy replied to the enquiry that the Congresswoman just saying "she had an interview and her visa has now been issued and was posted this afternoon" on friday, but that doesn't mean she helped, they were just responding like nothing even happened, like they didn't make a huge mistake.

It was issued and posted on Friday, according to them. I am freaking out because I'm meant to leave tomorrow.

Thank you my darling! I will continue to be positive. Getting tired though, but keep on fighting. I don't care if I have to drive to NVC to get things moving. They still don't have our package from USCIS Dallas Field Office. Guess I will be back to harassing them this coming Monday.

Or I will start harassing USCIS again. I am getting good at stalking and harassing What a mess.
