my rant of the day....This is me every second of every day without my soul mate, my best friend, my one true love, my life, my breath, my every heartbeat....my husband...crying070.gif

Allah hear our prayers....bless us all out of this hell.

Amen, exactly how I fee, no more joy, laughter, I don't even remember how it feels.

Thank you my dear friend May God bless you always I've been praying for you since day one hopefully you and your husband be together for ever???

Thank you my dear friend, fell asleep praying to day is the best day in your life. (L)

Can I just say how idiotic some of these people employed with the NVC are?!

Back on February 5th, I called the NVC trying to sort out confusion about my expedite request and got a really nice rep named Todd. At that time, I though Todd had done a superb job and had provided me with some actual answers unlike the several other representatives I had talked with about the same issue prior that week. Unfortunately, the whole 45 minute conversation I had with him about my case and the expedite was all lies and my expedite had never been received, which I did not find out until a couple of weeks later, only after having the senator's office contact them on my behalf. Anyway, before I found out Todd wasted 45 minutes of my time feeding me lies, I sent a nice email to the PI Department signed with my full name and our case number, paying Todd a compliment as I feel all to many times, we only send emails when we have something to complain about.

Well, today I got the following email from the NVC:

Dear Sir/Madam:

The Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) is committed to the protection of personal information of visa applicants and their petitioners. To ensure the confidentiality of visa files and to prevent the unauthorized release of personal information, the NVC requires that the following information be provided with each inquiry:

Name of the person submitting the inquiry

NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

Petitioner's name

Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based (I-140), include the employer's company/organization name.

Unfortunately, your inquiry did not contain ALL of the above information. Please resubmit your inquiry with the above information so we may update our records accordingly and provide you with a specific response.

Andres

National Visa Center

Written Inquiry Unit

FCi Federal, Support Contractor

asknvc@state.gov

My thought on this is wow, just WOW! I am not asking for a response on anything, nor am I asking for any information, which leads me to believe they never actually read my email. Todd didn't deserve the praise I gave him anyway, so I am glad they didn't read my email, but still... I gave them my full name and the case number, that should have been enough to process a compliment. Sheesh!!!

:(Sad to say this happened to me a million times and I also gave them all the information they requested plus some they didn't. Incompetent evil SOB's I remember some time back someone posting to not call them stupid because they were doing the best they could. Mind you this person has gotten their CC and interview then Visa so they were feeling very generous. I didn't want to take their joy about by letting them know exactly how I felt. I'm so sorry sweet heart you deserve better than that. (L)

Totally insane! I'm really infuriated today with all these people who have just applied are getting cc's in 36 days! Unreal!! When we've been waiting so long, someone i saw was waiting since jan 5th! Not fair Nvc! Not fair at all!!

Shameful, did you see what countries? I know they do things on purpose depending on the country and I have seen Japan consistently getting through in as little as 17 day from I-130 to NVC with no expedite. (L)

Oops! Thanks for letting me know.

Still says "READY" today but case update date is today..

Please call if nothing happens you don't want to wait to long. :)(L) Plus the fact I can't wait for that one beautiful word. :)(F)

Hi guys, i'm new here and i have a question. I initially filed in December 2014 but the stupid USCIS chicago lockbox rejeccted our error and sent the application to our Pakistani mailing address. It took 1.5 months for the mail to arrive and when it finally did we found out that they rejected our application in error. We simultaneously recieved an e-mail from them saying that they rejected our application in error and are highly aplogetic for the inconvenience that it may have caused us and they want us to resubmit the file and they will ensure it is processed correctly.

I resubmitted the application on march 15th and we got our NOA 1 on march 17th.

I was wondering if we could apply for an expedition on our case since the USCIS website states that you can have your case expedited if the USCIS makes an error.

Anybody got any thoughts on that?

Thanks for the help!

I'm feeling kind of down today guys...

Yesterday was a bittersweet day. Several people waiting for Cairo interviews finally got their P4 letters. I am so happy to see Cairo is back to scheduling. At the same time, I am heartbroken we did not get one. I don't know how it is possible to feel so happy and sad at the same time. This process has truly messed me up. The NVC rep, Ana, I talked to last night told me not to give up hope because scheduling has just started, but it's hard not to. For those of you that know of the army situation, you know why getting the P4 letter in the next couple of weeks is so important for us. Sorry for venting. I know I should feel grateful we have made it through this process as quickly as we have, but I just can't help myself.

Yes that is what they are doing and if you have to rebook it's only a matter of days. So rejoice, be happy and let this just be your time to relax before your flight home. :)(F) (L) (F)

I feel down every day, I know no joy what so ever! You have all the right in the world to be upset and want this to be over with. God bless you and I pray daily and before I sleep that you like Janelle and all the others find justice in this process. Love you girl, chin up there are miracles. (F)(L)(F)

After nine long years, my hubby finally has his visa!!!!!! Praise Jesus!!! Thank you, Soloenta, for all of your time that you have put into this forum. When I read that you were starting this forum, I RAN from the NVC Filer's forum to your forum because I knew that you were such a compassionate person and had a genuine concern for each member. Once again, thank you for all of your help! I continually pray that you will be reunited with your hubby soon. Peace and blessings!

Oh I'm so happy to see you post but more so that you at long last have your Visa, thank God, thank God I am so happy you have no idea. Thank you Lord for one more of your children delivered from this nightmare.

Awww sweet heart you honor me thank you but it's been my privilege, I gained more in knowing each one of you all have knowing me. God bless you and thank you for your prayers, I couldn't ask to be blessed more. :)(F) (L) (F) Thank you my sweet friend!

Hi again, everyone. I have a quick question just for my clarification, but I first wanted to say how....great?...it feels that I am not alone in this process. This all is definitely a test of patience, but we must remember it will all be done and over with one day, hopefully sooner than later!

Ok, here's my question(s)...

I have completed the DS260 and received an email that is has been received. I have also sent in (via mail) the AOS and IV packets. All fees are paid. So...will I receive a notification that the packets are received? And does a scan date equate to received packets? I just want to know when I can start the horrid 60 day count down.

Thank you in advance!! (L)

Hello and welcome to the thread and God willing your right and it's just a matter of time. But why don't I feel positive about those words. :D

Nope sorry to say you have to call I never received notice of anything you have to call and ask them if they have a scan date for your package. It arrives they sign for it depending on the service you paid for then it sits for a while then they scan it. Not sure how many days it's up to now to scan it in, anyone know? So NO, date received does not equate to a Scan date. Aren't they just a bunch of lovely efficient people! (F)(L)(F)

No call from the Dallas Field Office! :protest::protest::protest::protest::ranting::ranting:

Precious they never call or very rarely you have to call them back or you will be waiting until the cows come home and neither of us own cows. :P(L)
