No I'm going to visit him because this non bona fide married couple miss each other. I would move there or Ecuador if I could but my parents are not well which is why I'm not with my husband. So NO.

I wonder if you could contact the Cairo Embassy to request for a second interview? :reading:

It sounds like your hubby was nervous so didn't answer questions well. He may do better for the second time.

Thank you, I e-mailed a couple of days after the interview requesting the CO's supervisor to review our case and they had already sent the file to NVC. Your right he was nervous but mostly tired, he had to run around because his Police Record had the wrong ID number on it. So what should have been a restful day was running around getting a new one, having it certified then translated, copies of things that should have taken minuted took hours because for some reason Cairo is closing stores, internet Cafe's early. It wa as if everything was against us. Thank you for the suggestion.

I could not agree more. The negative feelings I have towards the person who interviewed me cannot be overstated. How can one person be so uninformed about the rules of their own department? Why did they not check with someone? And in that case, why did the next person to look at our case not say "ummm why is this poor woman in AP? Her application is perfect, give her a visa." THat is what logically should have happened but it didn't, because no one gives a rat's butt.

How frustrating Call for sure, ask to speak to a supervisor. Until then, scan that certificate in and send it. At least they allow scans now and don't require originals.

Every day, all day, I wonder what would have happened if I had just said "look, can you please just check with your colleague or supervisor, because I know we followed the rules exactly and the NVC agreed with us and told us all that paperwork was perfect".

I wonder to, the Co had my husband (plus not sleeping) so messed up he didn't show him the cell logs, more Skype etc, etc not that I think it would have made any difference so I don't know. Something needs to be done about this we just can't take this sitting down.

Did you send in a copy? I'm so sorry you got a checklist I got three for the AOS because they said not all 9 pages were there and they were not signed. LIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS pure and simple LIES! Ask to speak to a Supervisor, not sure if Mari is on mornings or evenings but just tell the rep you were told to ask for her hahahaha they lie to us and they have no way of knowing if it's true or not. Yes...I sent a copy. Amazing how they could misplace it! It was clipped together with the translation and the papr certifying the translation! So frustrating.
